Early V-Day Card Share!

Hello everyone!  I know it's been a couple of days since I've been on we had a wonderful time in Cleveland with my Hubby's family and we had a fun tea-party/sprinkle for our baby number two coming soon!  So, after I got home last night I made a few cards and I wanted to share one of my V-Day Cards with you...

I used background paper that I found in the dollar section of Target ( came with a pack of 6 different sheets!)  I cut a slip of pink paper and ran it through my Texture Boutique and the swirl A2 folder.  I then cut the purple and pink heart out using the Love Struck Cartridge, and I had added pink stickles before laying the purple heart layer ontop of the pink.  Finally I added two pink I-Rock gems, and finished with the word "love" from MPS everyday sayings stamp set!
Thank you for looking and all coments that you leave me I love them!

So I just had to put Love Choo out of an alphabet stamp set, hehehe!

My Pink Stamper Birthday Challenge!

Hello again, just me your fellow scrapper with another card for a different challenge!  My Pink Stamper is having another awesome challenge for her Birthday... all you have to do is make something that co-relates to birthdays... so I decided to take the time and make my Nephew's 2nd Birthday Card now and use it for both purposes!
I used my Elmo's Party Cartridge to make this card ( one that is not seen very often, but I love it! ).  If you have any little ones in your house this is a must have cartridge!  And the only other thing I added were some stickles for the dots around the confetti!  Did I mention that I used My Pink Stamper Everyday Saying Stamp set? Can't get enough!  I think this card is just too cute and I know he is going to LOVE it!  But shhhhh.... it's a birthday surprise!

Cricut Cardz Challenge Entry!

Hello, sorry it has been a few days since I could get on here my family had that wonderful little flu that was going around... thank goodness that is over!  So now I can finally post my Cricut Cardz Challege Card!
The challenge was to use any cartridge that had a snowman on it:

I used my Snow Friends Cartridge for my happy dancing snowman!  I ran my blue card through my Sizzix Texture Boutique and the divine Swirls A2 folder.  I took an extra peice of white shiny paper and gave it a tearing affect along the bottom, and I used one of my snowflake stamps stamped in blue, cut around it and added some large bling in the middle to show the snow he's dancing in.  Final touch was with the two little "buttons" on my snowman from my I-Rock tool!

Thank you so much, and go check out the other entrys or enter yourself!

A Happy Little Birthday Card!

Hello, Hello, Hello!!!!  I have had some great scrapbook shopping experiences in the past two days!  I finally got my hands on some Stampin' Up Stamp pads, yay!  And then today I went to a "garage sale" of types in which the lady was selling all of her scrapbooking stuff and I made out like a bandit!  So after finally straightening and getting everything reorganized and in new homes I sat down and made this fun Birthday Card!  Hope you enjoy!
I used brown cardstock for the backing, added a yellow cardstock which I ran through my Sizzix Texture Boutique with the swiss dots folder.  I then stamped with Classic Cocoa from Stampin' Up and My Pink Stamper Everyday Sayings Stamp set.  I cut a strip of the candles from my Birthday DCVW paper stack.  Finally the cake was cut using my Stretch Your Imagination Cricut Cartridge, toped with some added stickles in gold and white, and a final touch of I-Rock Bling!

Two Page Layouts

Hello everyone!  I first want to thank all of my followers for inspiring me to keep sharing my work, my responses from all of you have def. made me feel welcome!  Now onto some two page layouts that I wanted to share with you that I have been working on as of late...

For these two pages I used my Basic Bootcamp Cartridge for the letters, except for the letter B which I used a chipboard to make the title stand out more against the busy background paper that I bordered through the middle of the pages.  Since the "stars" paper was double sided I cut two more strips out and flipped over to the blue color and used my EK success paper trim punch.

I used my Cuttin' Up Cartridge for the title of these two pages and my Create a Critter Cartridge for the second page animals ( I LOVE this cartridge I think I only say that million times a week hehehe!).  I also added some paw print stickers going across the middle of the pages for an added touch.

I appologize for the glare on some of the pictures, I was in a bit of a rush today!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy!

Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog and Tuesday Throwdown Challenge Entry!

Yup, you guessed it I'm entering some more challenges... and I did another two for one! woo hoo!
Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog: you had to create something using only black, white, and one other color.
Tuesday Throwdown Challenge: you had to make a Valentines Day Card

So here's what I came up with for both...

To create this card I used my sizzix texture boutique and the dots A2 folder.  I used the Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge ( wow try saying that 5 times fast hehehe! ) for the penguin, hearts, and cut out chatter box.  The inside of the chatter box has a My Pink Stamper Stamp from her Everday Sayings.  I then used stickles on the hearts and scarf in pink, I added her eyes and 3 dots on each side of her head with a white gel pen.  For added sparkle I added my sparkle chalk from Pebbles Co., but it didn't show up at all in the pictures, because I even put slight pink blush on her cheeks.

Thanks for taking the time to look and I love hearing any comments you might have!

Challenge Entry for My Pink Stamper and Fantabulous Cricut!

Two of my favorite crafting blog sites are having great challenges for this week.
My Pink Stamper Challenge was to.... well I have to keep it a secret, because you had to  follow their hop to figure it out, but I followed the rules!
Fantabulous Cricut: Challenge me Monday was called Sweet Shop and you had to incorporate a sweet treat into your craft, so I lovingly mixed the two challenges together so I can enter it for both of them!

I took a plain white card, added a dark pink background paper that I ran through my Sizzix Texture Boutique with the swirls A2 folder.  I then lightly went over the swirls with a white chalk ink pad.  I made the yummy peppermint candy using my Christmas Tags Cricut cartridge in 3 different sizes from 1 1/4" - 1 3/4".  I dangled them with some white fancy string that I got in a pack from Hobby Lobby and attached the string to the plain pink paper using mini dots.  The "Just Because" comes from My Pink Stamper Every Day Life stamp set!  And I finished it off with a little I-Rock Bling in the same colors as the candies!  Thanks for stopping by and please feel free to become a follower!

Last Card for Scrap Cards Week! Thanks for tagging along with me!

First, I want to thank all of you who took the time to stop by my site and leave me such wonderful comments, or even if you just stopped by for a look I appreciate that too!  Here is my last card for my challenge to myself with a week full of scrap cards - meaning that I only used scrap paper on the cards whether it was for cutting with my cricut or simply cutting up to use as background... and let me tell you something it feels good ( and lighter in my paper carrier hehehe ) to have used those scraps up! Enjoy!
I used the lucky scrap paper along with a matching shiny green paper in the background, then I poped the second level of green paper with pop up squares from Creative Memories, added a plain scrap of white paper and stamped Good Luck from My Pink Stamper Stamp set three times in gold.  The finishing touch went on the sides of the green paper with my new gold colored stickles ( I love those things so much that I just bought three more colors in this past week hehehe so be looking for them on a blog near you! ).

And as a little recap here is a picture of all of the cards I made for this past week, once again I thank you for stopping by your support in my crafting world means alot!

Day #6 of Scrap Card Week!

Hello everyone, sorry I'm posting this a bit later in the day, but it's here Day #6 woo hoo!
This is probably the easiest of my scrap cards in the fact that I just took the scrap peice of paper placed it in the middle of my yellow card and added green, orange, and yellow bling with my I-Rock tool ( I love that thing! ).  Even though this is such a simple card it holds a kind of elegance to it, sometimes being simple is the best way to be!  Hope you all have a Happy Saturday and thank you for stopping by my blog!

Day #5 for Scrap Card Week!

Happy Friday everyone!  Welcome to Day 5 for my scrap card week...  Today's card is...
A little witchy, but it makes me laugh so I thought Fridays are a good day for laughter!  The shoe was cut out using Happy Hauntings Cartridge, with some martha stewart black glitter for the bottom of the shoe!  A little black ribbon goes around the bottom, all the paper was scrap paper!

A Quick Little Jewelry Blog...

I was so excited and happy with the way this necklace turned out that I made for my mom that I had to share it on here too!

In person the shine on these beads are wonderful!  The bottom 5 blue beads were my Grandma's and my mom wanted them incorporated into a necklace, so I had 4 other blue swaroski crystals that I had used in a previous necklace and put those along the sides, and used the rest of the white swaroski crystals that I had throughout the rest of the necklace.  This is really a peice to be seen in person, but I wanted to share with you too!  Thanks for stopping by, and please come back from tom. Day 4 in my scrap card week!
Happy Crafting,
Love,

Scrap Card Week Day #3!!!

Happy Wednesday!  I always feel like Wednesdays should be celebrated, because after all you made it halfway through the week yay! hehehe!  Anywho here is my scrap card for day # 3, I decided to post a happy one for today, enjoy!

The flower was made using George Basic Shapes Font, I cut the same flower out about 7 times each at a 1/4" smaller than the one before and I alternated between two colors.  Once I had them all lined up I used a bling brad to put in the middle and pulled the petals upward giving it a more 3-D look.  I used my EK success edger punch for the flower paper and a My Pink Stamper Stamp for the sentiment!  Thanks for stopping by and as always Happy Crafting!

Challenge Me Monday for Fantabulous Cricut!

Hello everyone!  I just wanted to share my two page layout for Fantabulous Cricut's Challenge Me Monday!  The challenge was Snowy Delights: meaning you had to incorporate snow or snowflakes somewhere in your project, so here is mine... enjoy!

The snowflakes are rather hard to see because I wanted them to be see through, so it was hard to take a picture of vellum, but you can kind of see them in my last picture.  The snowflakes were made with the When It's Cold Outside cartridge and I added Snow Stickles to the tips of them.

For the "snowy hills" I tore pieces of blue paper, ink them with white chalk ink, and then I added snow fluff lines to give it a snowy look.  The stickers were from Soft Spoken.

To see my project on Fantabulous Cricut go here.
Thank you for your time and good luck to all entrants to this challenge!

MPS challenge/ Design Team Possibility Submission

Good morning crafters, friends, and family!  I am so excited just to say I even have a chance to become one of My Pink Stampers Design Team Members, as I'm sure so many of you are too!  The challenge was to create either a card, craft, or scrapbook layout using a favorite Cricut cartridge MPS' favorite colors green, brown, and pink, and to explain what it is for and what you used to make it.

I chose to do a two page layout for my second little baby's to be future scrapbook ( whew, that's a mouthful! )

My favorite cartridge, which is also one of my newest cartridges, is the Create a Critter!  Seriously, can those little critters get any cuter? I think not!

I really enjoyed this challenge because I don't always think to use brown, pink, and green together for things, but it turned out so cute!  I chose to add some purple too to bring out the colors in the polka-dot background paper.

All of my embellishments were made using the Create a Critter Cartridge.  I used a white pen for the faces and to outline some of the hearts.  And I felt what little girl page doesn't need a little "sparkle"? So I used my Ice Stickles in "Coffee Ice" on the hearts and the little love bug's antennas and wings!

I double matted with pink paper to help the pictures stand out a little more, and all of the hearts are attached only at the very top or bottom so that I'll be able to slide my pictures in at a later time.  The 5 X 7 double mat on the first page has some extra "bling" added to it by weaving heart brads through sequins and then through the paper.  The bottom part with punched with an EK Success paper edger punch.

And there you have it! Thank you so much for stopping by, and please feel free to leave comments I love reading them!

Birthday Cards for January!

Happy New Year!!!!!!  Woo hoo!!! I thought since today is a day for celebrating I would share my birthday cards that I have made for two birthdays in January...

Items used to make this lovely card:  Cake sticker, stickles, Sizzix Texture Boutique, sparkly yarn, and My Pink Stamper Stamp.  The envelope has a simple stamp done along the edge with one jewel made using my I - Rock tool.

Items to make this card:  I used cardstock from Paper Studio Birthday stack, I ripped the bottom of the red paper on front, then I made the window sticker using transperancy paper, green paper with a cake sticker, sticky foam tape, and fun little silver beads to fill the inside with.  The inside stamp is from My Pink Stamper Stamps!  And the envelope was a quick make of paper and I-Rock gems!

Hope you all have a Happy New start to a wonderful New Year!
Happy Crafting too!
