I had a lot of fun coming up with this card based on two fun challenges... The first is the Runway Inspiration which has a photo inspiration ( gorgeous colors! ), and the Less Is More 3 - 2 - 1 challenge (loved this idea!). So with these two wonderful inspirations I came up with this:
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Penny Black and Technique Tuesdays
Ink: Memories
Paper banners and flower: MME Tangerine The Sweetest Thing
My 3 are the 3 banners, 2 words, 1 flower
*Also entering this into the Simon Says Stamps: anything goes
Hope you enjoyed!!

TAWS and The Cats Meow Purrrfect Together!
The Alley Way Stamps had such a fun TAWS inspiration challenge going on with rainbow colors, that if you know me and my love for rainbows there was just no way I couldn't join in on the fun! I took my layout for this card from The Cats Meow August Challenge! And this is what arose:
Supplies Used:
Stamps: TAWS - priceless joy, Penny Black - gingham background
Ink: Paintbox by Colorbox ( all the bright colors ), Memories ( black ), Memento ( grey )
Water paintbrush
heart brad
George and Basic Shapes Cartridge ( circle cut )
White satin ribbon
I loved all of the bright colors, but I really wanted it to be more grounded so this is why I choose the dark blue matting. To create my rainbow paper I simply took each color out of the paintbox and stamped it onto the paper in the order it was in... I then went over all the colors blending them together with a water paintbrush. I also "water-colored" the butterfly in with ink and the water paintbrush.

Lawnscaping meets a splash of lime!
Hello and welcome to my two challenge mixer! woo hoo!!! Today's post is a card I made based on the Lawnscaping challenge: make your own background paper and the Playdate Cafe - black, white, and a splash of lime!
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Lawn Fawn Flying By
Ink: Memories - black, Memento - green
Sharpie in green
Green and white cardstock
* I am also adding this to the Moxie Fab World: Movement Challenge
I wasn't sure if I would be able to stamp the paper airplanes and make it look like a designer paper would, but I am really pleased with the results and would love to make more of these with other stamps too! I also wanted to add that I'm not quite sure why the trail behind the planes looks so yellow, because it really looks lime green in person! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!

*PS - don't forget to join the digi challenge at V's Sweet Ideas for your chance to win 7 Bugaboo digis! woo hoo! Only a few days left to join in!

Hey, You Rock!
I find guy cards to be the most intimidating cards to make... you never want to be too girly, but you don't want to be boring, and let's face it I'm always thinking " how can I make this sparkle? " and well that doesn't really work on a guy card... but I was able to make this one as a happy accident! Yay!!! As my son always says " Sometimes accidents happen " and boy am I glad this one worked out for the better...
I had seen a fun challenge at CPS this week with the following sketch...
I also had just seen the fun color challenge up at Stampin Sisterhood:
So while playing around I had a circular shaped ink pad ( Mixed Media Inx by Colorbox ) and I thought how perfect the yellow one would be for the larger circle of the card, but as I was pressing it down I seemed to have pressed really hard in one spot and not enough on the outter part of the circle, but I went with it and I actually love the turn out...
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Stampin' Up (circles), TAWS (sentiment and mini skid mark circles)
Inks: Mixed Media Inx by Colorbox, PTI, and Memento
Smoochspritz
orange cardstock
Thanks so much for stopping by and for reading my long winded post today! hehehe!
