A Watercolor card

Hi!  Ok, so I know I've been posting like crazy today, but I had so much fun getting crafty last night that I just couldn't wait to share it all!  I'm playing along with the AEI(heart)U Challenge #7: Botanicals as well as the addicted CAS-ology: Flower Challenge... As I'm sure you can guess I was fortunate enough to take part in the Watercolor classes over at CardClasses.com, and this class was ah-mazing!  I have learned sooo much, and it has really pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and try new things... that's where this card comes in...

 I have never even thought to stamp an image and then turn it into a watercolor painting, but I feel so fancy having learned this technique from class...

I'm really happy with the results and since this is my first card ever using this technique I know I can only get better!

Sending Warm Fuzzies...

* This is my second post for the day, check out my first post wishing Stacey owner of SweetStamps.com a Very Happy Birthday!!!
Hi!  I was able to squeeze in a little time to just play around for fun... and when I saw A Blog Named Hero had an embossing challenge I decided to join in.  Since the ABNH design team was also incorporating Mama Elephant stamps I couldn't resist doing the same.  I've also included the colors I was inspired by in the latest Runway Inspiration Challenge:

Supplies Used:
Stamps: (sentiment) Hero Arts (bunny and hearts) Mama Elephant
Ink: Memento and Versamagic
Embossing Enamel: Piccolo
Distress Markers: Ranger
Rhinestones: K & Co.
Copics
Patterned Paper: Pebbles

I started by coloring a semi circle with my distress markers, spritz them and then stamped it onto my paper.  I then stamped the sentiment.  The bunny was stamped on a separate cardstock, colored, and fussy cut out.  I then embossed the hearts, adhered the bunny with a foam dot, and added some rhinestones.  I then framed it with some patterned paper and bam!

Technique Challenge: Dryer Sheet Flower!

Hello!  We are changing things up at SweetStamps.com and we will now be sharing our Technique Challenge on the first weekend of the month now, woot woot!  Remember you have the whole month to join in the technique challenge, and plus you might just learn something new!  This month we are challenging you to create a flower our of an old dryer sheet.  This was new to me, but I love when you can use things that will otherwise be thrown away...
