Here is a two page LO of Aiden meeting Maddie for the first time...

The paper was by Cosmo, Heart full of love was a sticker, I typed the sentiments up and then faux stiched in coordinating fine tip sharpies, and I used adhesive buttons from Little Yellow Bicycle ( I love how perfectly they matched this paper is was very uncanny! ).  This was a fairly simple LO, but I love how it turned out!

We R Grateful Challenge #7

Woo hoo!  I did it!  I completed all 7 cards and had a fantastic time doing it!  I was on such a roll last night when I made them all while watching "The Voice", hehehe!  Thank you for coming with me on this crafting journey, and please go to Kassidy's site for more information on how you can get involved too!

Challenge #7: Thank you card!

The paper is from Cosmo Cricut, I added a sea green colored ribbon on the bottom from my stash, I had also folded over the ribbon in spots to give it a "crickled" look using Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive, and the sentiment was from My Pink Stamper Everyday Life Stamp Set stamped in tuxedo black!

I can't thank you all enough for stopping by and looking at my cards for such a wonderful program!  Have a fantastic weekend coming up!  And I'll see you back here sometime next week for more crafting fun!

**Revision: sorry earlier I realized that I have switched challenge #3 and Challenge #6, sooooo I am just posting them in the opposite order!  Sorry for the confussion!
Ok, I'm back!  And onto another challenge!  Challenge #3: Missing You Card

The papers comes from DCVW Linen paper collection, I used an EK success edge punch on the green, the flower is a sticker from an old stash of make your own cards kit ( we are talking like 5 years at least old! hehehe!), and the missing you sentiment is from Paper Studio words clear stamp set stamped in Stampin' Up! Close to CoaCoa.  Simple and sweet!

Thanks again!

Operation We R Grateful Challenge #5

Here is Challenge #5: Love Card

This has to be one of my favorites, because I used all scrap "tags" to make this one creation!  The "love" comes from a wedding clear stamp set I bought a long time ago (sorry i don't know the makers at this time!).  And it was stamped in Stampin' Up! brown ink.

Thanks!
Lisa

Operation We R Grateful Challenge #4

Hello, and onto Challenge #4  (Remember to visit Kassidy's site for more info.! ): Hello Card!

This is a very basic card, but I love it!  The "flags" are from scrap paper I had that was actually in the shape of diamonds that I cut down the center and then fussy cut out!  The cream paper was cut using the Tie the Knot Cartridge, and I stamped with a small stap set I bought from the dollar bins at JoAnn's.  The bird is stamped in Stampin' Up! Close to Coacoa, and the hello is stamped from ink stamp set by Memento.

Thank you again, and I'll be posting the rest later this evening!

Ink to my folder before embossing it,  I used ribbon at the top and bottom from my older stash, and the dino was cut from the Create A Critter Cartridge, I used My Pink Stamper Every Day Sayings Stamp set for the sentiment on the inside "Have A Happy Birthday".

Operation We R Grateful!!!!

Hello crafters!  First I have to start this post with a huge thank you to Kassidy from Inking it Up Crazy for making me aware of such an awesome program like Operation We R Grateful, which works with Operation Write Home...  this program was created to supply cards for our serving men and women across seas to be able to keep in contact with their family members.  I absolutely love the basis for this program and I am soooo grateful to be able to be a part of it, even if it is just a small part.

Without further adieu, I have created a card for each of the challenges Kassidy has set up for us and I will be mailing them to her hopefully tom.  I will be posting each challenge today, due to time restraints with meeting the challenge rules... so I hope you enjoy, and I'm sorry in advance for all of the posts popping up in your emails, but it is well worth it I promise! If you would like to be a part of this great program visit Kassidy at Inking it Up Crazy with: Kassidy for more information.

Challenge #1 is "Thinking of You" Card

I used black and white basic card stock, Martha Stewart punch around the page punch set, decorative string at bottom comes from an older Stampin' Up! set, the image was cut from the Storybook Cartridge, and the sentiment comes from Paper Studio words stamp set!

Thank you so much for looking!  And please go to Inking it Up Crazy with: Kassidy  for more information on this fantastic program!

A Wedding Card with Invitation Inspiration! Audience Participation at end of post!

Hello crafty friends!  I am so excited to share today's post with you, because I'm so proud of my work!  So many times for wedding cards I just go straight to my wedding cartridge or do the standard black and white type of card, which there is nothing wrong with because I am sure I will use those again in the future, but I wanted to do something different.  When I received the wedding invitation I found it to be different than the typical wedding invitation and I just knew my card would have to be too.  So here it is...

Recipe:

Cardstock : basic white and brown, the diagonal designed paper is So Sophie by My Minds Eye ( love it! ), the tree paper was from my stash

Sentiment is from my stash (sorry it is a clear set of stamps that I don't have the written name for )  Inside Sentiment is from Paper Studio

Ink - Brown Stampin' Up!

Flowers from my stash and sprayed with Ranger Perfect Pearl Mists

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Cricut Cardz Challenge #78- wedding card using any cartridge and colors
Wee Memories - Free For All Challenge #59

Thank you for looking and for any comments!
Now onto audience participation part of my blog: do you prefer my step by step directions on how I make my projects or the simple recipe version as shown above?    Any thoughts would be much appreciated!  Thank you and Happy Crafting!
