The Alley Way Stamps Layout

Hi!  Today I am sharing this layout over on The Alley Way Stamps Blog, and I'm happy to share it on here too...  I've used the jar image from the Buggin' Out Stamp Set ( this set is free this month with every $40 purchase, woo hoo!!!!)  as my focus for this layout and I love it...

I used the jars as my journaling spots and embellishments.  I started by stamping the jars, water coloring on them with gellatos, stamping and adhering rhinestones and enamel dots.  My journaling says : " I feel I have done my job if... I capture the little moments that slip from the brain, but remain in our hearts..."  You also can barely see the background of misted hearts in my photos, but in person they shine so pretty!

I am also entering this into the Scrap and Play Challenge - Bingo ( I used the middle row: bling, enamel dots, and mist/paint)!

Be Inspired Challenge Week #3

I created my starry background by using a water stamping technique with ranger distress inks and stamping with water.  I then embossed my sentiment over top.  I can't wait to see what you will be creating for this challenge!

Sending a "little" Hello...

Handwritten fonts being Big and Bold seem to be all of the rage right now, so I was super excited when I saw the Big Chatter Stamp Set that has just been released at The Alley Way Stamps!  In this card I've changed the little bug guy from the Buggin' Out Stamp Set ( Yours free with any $40 purchase this month!) into an alien by adding a star background and stamping him on "sequin paper".

(it was hard to get a great shot of this little guy, but he looks so cool in person!)

I am in Love with AlteNew!!!

Hello!  I know it was kind of sparse here on my blog last week, but that is because we were on vacation!!! yay!!!  And it was so nice too, but now I am back... refreshed... and ready to get crafty!  When I came home I found my Altenew Stamps waiting for me, and I could not wait to get inky again.  I had wanted to order a few sets when they first were released, but they sold old in a matter of hours, and I can completely see why.  So I checked out some challenges and got busy...
