Parts of You are Pretty Fabulous TAWS!

Check out my giveaways going on right now!
Hello!  So my world has been pretty hectic around here... between school starting (my first is going to kindergarten and my youngest to preschool! ahhh!!!) next week, testing, a whole new ceiling being put in downstairs (loooooong story), my dinning room, I mean craft room full of furniture and covered in plastic, having projects due that I can't get to and finishing some special wedding invites... ahhhh!!!!  But, I've made it with today's post so I'm taking one positive step at a time, hehehe!

Today this lovely little floral card is here and up on The Alley Way Stamps Blog as it is showcasing one of the new stamp sets, Flower Shop...

Supplies Used:
Stamps: The Alley Way Stamps ( Flower Show and All About You )
Ink: Memento Luxe
Flower Sequins: V's Sweet Ideas
Glossy Accents
Rhinestones

I am also entering this into the Party Time Tuesday: Watercolor looking Techniques Challenge... while I did not use watercoloring to create this card I did give it a similar look by stamping the back side of my stamps first and layering the front side of the stamp image in black on top of it.  It's fun, simple, and easy to replicate with little to no mess!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

GIVEAWAY DAY!!!! HOORAYYYY!!!

Hello!  If you came by my blog yesterday ( and thank you if you did! ) then you say my post mention something about giveaways for having met my 1000 post! yay!!!  So today is the lucky giveaway day!

To be entered to win all I want you to do for me is this...

1. Tell me one goal you hope to achieve some day or that you've already achieved.

For a bonus entry:

2. Let me know if you are a follower, and I want to give my followers a second entry for being so awesome and supporting me!

That is it!  And please don't sign up to follow me if you are just going to drop me after the giveaway is over, it's always a bummer to see numbers go up only to see then go back down the day after.

With that said here are the two giveaways I have up this time around...

I am so honored to be on The Alley Way Stamps Design Team... I wanted to be on this team for a couple of years, and when I was choosen I was beyond thrilled.  Plus it has turned out to be all that and more.  Alison, the owner and illustrator for TAWS is amazing and simply the sweetest person, so thank you Alison for letting me giveaway two of your awesome sets (US and International are welcome)...

My second giveaway is a conglomerate of products.... 6 x 6 paper pads from American Crafts, Penny Black, and Lawn Fawn... some Fancy Pants embellishments, and V's Sweet Ideas sweet dots... ( So sorry, but this prize is only available for US Residents due to shipping costs, but international followers are welcome to enter for prize #1!!!)

Make sure to leave your comments to my question before you leave for your chance to win one of these prize packs!  I appreciate your support and your encouraging words with the most sincerity.  You have until August 31st, and the winners will be announced shortly after!  Make sure you check back to see if you are the winner!!!

New BIC... milestone reached so Giveaways to come!

Hello, Happy Happy Friday!  I'm so excited for this weekend because I leave tonight to go on a Girl trip with my sister and mom, yay!!!  Now recently I've reached a blogging milestone, which is cause for a celebration, but before I give all of the details on that I have a card that I have created based on the new Be Inspired Challenge... ( Such a tease, I know!)

Supplies:
Stamps: The Alley Way Stamps - Tri-Me Stamp Set
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey
Rhinestones: K & Co.
Floral Chipboard: Pebbles Inc.

To create this card I stamped lots of triangles on several sheets of patterned paper, fussy cut them and adhered at an angle.  I then stamped my sentiment and matted it with foam adhesive.  Next I added the floral shipboard and rhinestones.  I just love the triangle in the Be Inspired Challenge Photo and that is what go my creative juices flowing...

Now it's your turn to play along! All you have to do is create something based on this inspiration photo using at least one Alley Way Stamp Set (since we are so graciously sponsored by them!), and don't worry if you don't own one yet (notice the key word yet hehehe!) because they have several freebies available on their blog!  Remember the winner from these challenges earn a Guest Designer spot with The Alley Way Stamps and two stamp sets!!!

I am also entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Summertime
and in the HIMCR Anniversary KISS Challenge

And last but not least my blogging milestone... I have now posted over 1000 posts!!! ahhhh!!!!  I can't believe it!  I am so blessed to have found the blogging community and papercrafting community!  The friendships and inspiration that I have gained from all of this is immeasurable, and so I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for following me in my crafting journey and for letting me follow you too!
I also have a few giveaways that I would like to share with you, so make sure you stop back tomorrow to see what the prizes are and how you can enter, thank you all again!
Hugs and Happy Crafting!

Double Step Card for The SweetStamps.com Challenge

Ok, so I must start with the fact that this card is completely not my style, and that's ok.  It's ok to learn new things, try them, and see if they fit... in fact I highly suggest it.  I don't make many shaped or step cards, because frankly they scare me, but I LOVE a good challenge and this was one for me.  So I challenge you to try playing in this month's technique challenge at SweetStamps.com creating your own double step card... especially if you've never made one before... BE CHALLENGED, learn something new about yourself, and just have fun!  ( Don't forget there is also a prize just for your efforts!)  All products are welcome, but we LOVE seeing your SweetStamps.com images/cuts.

Now onto my card...
