I am so happy with the way this Valentine has turned out. For those of you out there who know who Virginia from Yes Virginia, you know how beautiful and truly inspiring she is. She is also a very kind person who has always made time to leave comments for me ( even though I know she is super busy and constantly on the crafting go!), give me tips, and has been a true joy to learn from... so I wanted to use, what I refer to, as simplistic elegance that I see in many of her cards.

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving a comment. You asked what I use to sponge with. I cut small round sponges into quarters and use the rounded edge. They are available at Michaels and Stampin Up ( and probably other places ).
Your valentines card is very cute and I like the non-traditional colour scheme.
