PTI Blog Hop Day! yay! And more challenges!

Hi! This is my second post today, would LOVE it if you could take the time to see my first post using my favorite colors for the newly posted SweetStamps.com Challenge, plus learn how you can have a chance at winning a $20 shopping spree!

With that said I am here to share my card for this month's PTI Monthly Blog Hop...

 

The minute I saw the feather set from PTI I knew it had to be mine... and it was so perfect for this challenge too!  I embossed the feather in white, then I double embossed the dots in gold.  To finish it off I used my new PTI Inks to watercolor with.  Add a gold sentiment and trim, viola!

PTI Make It Monday Challenge

Happy Friday!!!  I was very intrigued by this weeks PTI Make It Monday Challenge:Layering Die and Pigment Inks, something simple and one of those why didn't I think of that techniques!  So glad for these videos!  Here is my take on the challenge:

Twine: The Twinery

I did find that certain colors did not show the pattern underneath as well as others.  As you can see the green and the dark purple worked great.  The other two need to be seen in person and up close, but I really love this technique and can't wait to play around with it on more projects!  Thanks for taking the time to visit!

All You Need is Love...And a Winner

... you know you are singing it! :)  I am happy to share this layout I made the other night with some of my newer MME goodies!  I LOVE buying a few 12 x 12 sheets of a line and then the 6 x 6 paper packs for many reasons... 1. the expense, 2. 6 x 6's are easy to cut up, line up and mix and match.  With that said here is my layout:

Patterned Paper,Stickers, Brads: MME;  Thickers: American Crafts, Dies: PTI (you sentiment) and Lawn Fawn (smaller hearts), Sequins: V's Sweet Ideas, Gold Thread.

I am so excited about this layout because I tried something new for the first time ever... I hand stitched that heart! AND I LOVE IT!!!!  So glad that I went for the idea I had in my head!
