Arrr... You're a Gem... Mint Owl Studio Release Day
Ahoy matey!!! Today I'm sharing a card for the release day at Mint Owl Studio!!!! Woo hoo!!! Or should I say shiver me timber? haha! Why all the pirate talk, you ask??? Check it out...
This set called A Pirates Life is so much fun and has lots of little images that are great to play around with and to let any little/big pirate know how awesome they are! To create today's card I started by stamping the gems randomly onto watercolor card stock. I then used my zig markers to loosely watercolor over them. I then stamped my pirate chest onto separate yardstick, colored with my comics and added some glam with gold tickles. The sentiment was stamped and colored in the right lower left of the card. I finished it all off with some gold thread and clear sequins.

Oh, what a fun set! I love the card you made using it!
Such a fabulous card, Lisa! I love the background you created. In fact, I hadn't noticed the little gem as part of the set! Isn't that sentiment just perfect with the chest too? Love it!!
