Hip-Hip-Hooray!!!!

It's Wednesday, yay!!!!  Today I am here and on the Alley Way Stamps Blog sharing this colorful and almost one layer card.  If I hadn't done my card on a panel of watercolor cardstock this card would have been one layer, as nothing else is separate, but technicalities say it's different, booo! hehehe!  Anywho, I hope this bright little guy brings you a smile...

To create this card I started by stamping the little turtle from the It's My Party Stamp Set first and masking him off.  Next I used a stencil and various distress inks to create my fun background.  I then added a few water droplets for more interest.  Once this dried I removed my mask and colored this little guy in with Copics.  Finally I stamped my sentiments and adhered the whole panel to my cardbase.

I am adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Make It Colorful Challenge
and in the Time Out Challenge: Make Your Mark

Bat's the way I like it!

Hello! I'm popping in a bit late, I am sorry to say, to share this cute little treat holder I've made for the newest Anything Goes Challenge at SweetStamps.com...

To create this little guy I used the Pillow Box Punch Board after going over my Art Stencil Going Batty with Distress Ink.  I then created my little tag with the Artsy Fartsy Halloween Silhouettes Stamp Set.  I just love this sentiment in this set, hehehe!  I tied it on with a little twine, and viola!  The perfect halloween treat box is ready to go!

Can't wait to see what you create for this challenge, remember anything goes!!!

29... again?

hehehe!  I love this sentiment, and it is so me... but shhhh don't tell my kids that!  Anywho, happy Labor Day and I am popping in here and on The Alley Way Stamps Blog to share this funny little birthday card I have created using the new It's My Party Stamp Set...

Isn't he just perfect for that sentiment? hehehe!  To create this card I started by cutting my fringe paper and layering onto my cardbase.  I then stamped my little turtle right above the top layer and colored him in with various Copics.  I stamped my sentiment in the upper left corner and decided to round my top corners.  Finally I added some washi and twine just underneath my little guy.

I am adding this card to the Simon Says Stamp Make it Colorful Challenge

Thanks so much for stopping by today and Happy Crafting!

Party BIG Time...

Hello!  Today I am partying it up with some super cute kitty friends from the newest Alley Way Stamps Sets: Big Time and Party Pooper (This set is free with any $40 purchase this month!)...

Aren't these guys so cute?!  I just want to squeeze them! hehehe!  Anywho, to create this card I started by stamping the kitty in the middle, masking him and adding to friends to the sides of him.  I then used Copics to color them in and add the background.  The party hats were paper pieced with a strip from the background panel.  I them stamped my Sentiment with fun bright colors and added some rhinestones for extra shine!

I am adding this card to the Marker Pop Challenge: Anything with Markers

Especially for You... Anything Goes Challenge at SweetStamps.com

Hello beautiful readers!!!  Did you see all of the awesome new stamps that were just released for preorder at SweetStamps.com?!  LOVE!!!!  I can't wait to get my hands on some of them myself!  Anywho, we have started a new monthly challenge at SweetStamps.com, and it's going to be a popular one for sure.... as it will always be ANYTHING GOES!!! woo hoo!!!!  Just link up anything you've newly created and share it with us!  Make sure you read the full rules on how to win over on their blog.

Now onto what I've created....  I recently received a kit of the new SweetStamps.com microfine glitters and couldn't wait to play with them...

I must admit that some of this card was purely accidental.  Yes, I wanted to create a card with the glitters and a diecut with multiple colors, but unintentionally I was able to use to colors of cardstock as well when some of the pieces didn't diecut all the way through.  This was no fault of the dies, but simply because I forgot to use my metal adapter when running this intricate sweetcut through my machine... oooppsss, and yay! hehehe!  I started by die cutting with colored cardstock.  I then used a trimmed piece of double sided adhesive sheet on a create cardstock and ran this through my machine with the die. I then peeled certain pieces away and added one color glitter, then took off more pieces for another color and so forth until the whole thing was covered.  I then adhered this to my colored cardstock diecut and adhered the this to the cardbase. The sentiment was stamped last in a coordinating color and ta - da!  whew!  I hope I didn't lose you along the way of this explanation!
Can't wait to see what you create this month!
