Today I am over on the Crafty Doodle Chick Blog and I'm having fun!  Who is still giddy over the newest Lawn Fawn release?!  ME!!!! I LOVED so much of it I had a hard time choosing... but today I've gone whimsical and made my inner rainbow loving heart happy by creating this...

Isn't it just too cute?!?!?!  To create my card I used the Say What Christmas Critters Stamp Set, the Really Rainbow Christmas Petite Paper Pack,  and the Reveal Wheel Die Cut Set with the Shooting Star Add-on.  For extra fun I used glitter cardstock and glitter pens.

I started this card by stamping the unicorn, speech bubble and sentiment onto cardstock, trimmed them out and set them to the side.  I then covered the front of my card with patterned paper and used other patterned paper to cut the Reveal Wheel parts from.  I also added a snowy hill for my unicorn to sit on.  To create the changing colored glitter on my reveal wheel I actually cut that circle piece 5 times, one white and one of each colored glitter cardstock.  I then trimmed the glitter paper into four pieces, and adhered the pieces onto the white wheel.

Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure you pop in the store and check out the new products that are always being added!  Plus grab some of this new Lawn Fawn before it's gone!

Reveal Wheel Fun on the Crafty Doodle Chick Blog!

Hello friends!  I know it's been quite a few days since my last post, but it's summer time which means camp drop offs, workbook activities, kid crafts, and lots of outdoor time, plus I just crammed for the previous HSN show with Crafter's Companion so I slowed things down a bit for the rest of this week.  But now I am back, and over on the Crafty Doodle Chick Blog, woot woot!  And I have a super fun and cute card to share using the new Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Die, Screen Time and Reveal Wheel Sentiment Sets...

For full details make sure you hop over to the Crafty Doodle Chick Blog!  Thanks so very much and have a great weekend!

Thanks...

Hi!  I'm popping in to play with a few challenges, yay!!!    I was excited to see Laurel Seabrook was back to crafting, and when I saw she had a challenge too I had to join in!  Such a beautiful inspiration picture too...

And I was also inspired by the Cupcake Inspirations challenge #437:

To create this...

To create my card I wanted to go very clean and simple, and I really love the blue and white combo, so I started with Winter Sky Cardstock by AMuse Studio as my cardbase.  I then added a strip of white embossed cardstock scrap that I had in my drawer and adhered it to the center.  For snowflakes I diecut both sizes from DCWV Glitter cardstock and layered them together.  The sentiment is by Lawn Fawn, and while I cut this also from white, I felt like there was enough of a difference between this and the embossed cardstock that it didn't need anything between the two.  To finish the whole card off I add some gorgeous Iridescent Clear Crystals from Studio Katia.

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me today and I hope I've inspired you to join in some challenges too!

MarkerPOP Challenge

Hello, hello!  Have you seen the newest MarkerPOP Challenge?  They now run their challenges in a FB group, so make sure you join so you can play along!  The latest challenge is such a happy one that I had all kinds of ideas...

Who doesn't love Rainbows?  And since I'm in a Holiday Crafty Mood I mixed the two themes to create my card...

To create this card I started by cutting strips of paper from my Sugar Pea Designs Spots and Stripes Brights.  Next I stamped the second sentiment along the bottom of my cardbase, and stamped the Alpaca and begging part of the sentiment onto a different piece of cardstock.  I went ahead and die cutted a mix of snowflakes from glitter cardstock and adhered everything to the front of my card.  I just LOVE it!

I hope this little guy brought you a smile today, and Happy Crafting!

Under The Sea with the MarkerPOP Challenge and Giveaway Details!

Woo hoo!  It is Sunday and that means it is time for a new MarkerPOP Challenge!!!  This time we have a beautiful underwater inspirational photo for you...

Since I'm still in a Winter mood I decided to make my underwater scene Christmassy with a play on words...

For this card I've used lots of Lawn Fawn goodies including: Trim the Tree, I'm So Jelly, and Watercolor Wishes 6 x 6 Paper Pad.  To create a water background I used my Gansai Tambi Watercolors.  For the tree and sweet critters I used a mix of Spectrum Noir Markers.  And finally I used clear sequins to reflect bubbles in the water, as well as for some added shine.

Thanks so much for stopping by and we can't wait to see what you link up for your chance to win this super cute Flora and Fauna Set...

MarkerPOP Challenge Fall Style

Hello, hello!  I would say Happy Fall, but here in Ohio we have been sweltering in this 90 degrees weather, hehehe!  But I'm going fall here on the blog for the newest MarkerPOP Challenge, based on this inspirational photo...

And here is what I've created with my favorite leaf die set by Lawn Fawn...

I love the look of inlaid die cutting, so that's exactly what I did!  My sentiment is a favorite older set by Altenew and I used gold embossing with a  strip of vellum behind it.

Make sure you head over to the MarkerPOP Blog for more details and to find out what the prize is.  Plus there is a giveaway and a BIG challenge with some amazing prizes.

MarkerPOP Challenge #123

Hi!  It's time for a new challenge on the MarkerPOP blog, and this month there is an awesome prize pack that includes the Penny Black Summer Fun Paper Pad, Avery Elle's Cool Treats Stamp Set, Sunny Studios Perfect Popsicle Set and Distress Oxide Inks in Worn Lipstick and Broken China.  I'm totally jealous!  So I hope you'll play along!  Here is the inspiration picture...

And here is how I was inspired...

I went super CAS with this card and simply layered die cut panels up with various levels of foam adhesive.  I stamped, colored and added some Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard on these cute little stars from the So Jelly Stamp Set by Lawn Fawn.  Something I like about this card is that it can be used for multiple occasions.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I hope to see you join either of the challenges this month on the MarkerPOP Blog!
