Final Post for MarkerPOP
Hi, I'm here with you for one final post. I am so sad to say that this is my last post for the team, but I also want to give my sincerest thanks to the entire MarkerPOP team for having me this past year. I have had a wonderful time, and the products/service offered by MarkerPOP has always been amazing.
With all of that said I've created a happy little Birthday scene with some Studio Katia products. To create my card I first diecut my patterned paper with the STAX Stitched Creative Window Die. I used this as a template for where I would stamp the images from the Kobi the Birthday Bear set. All of the images where colored with Spectrum Noir Markers. Kobi was stamped on separate cardstock and hand cut after he was colored in.
For added depth and dimension I used foam adhesive strips and finished the card off with a few sequins. Thank you so much to all of you who have continued to visit the MarkerPOP blog, and to those of you who took the time to leave me comments. Your words were always appreciated.
Happy Crafting!

A Muse Studio Release Day 1
Hello! I'm so happy to share that it is time for a new release with A Muse Studio! Today I have a super fun card that is perfect for a little Holiday laugh, and a coffee or hot chocolate lover...
This sentiment takes the cake if you ask me! It also happens to be the title of this stamp set. I love the matching dies to this set and I used those to create my mugs out of cardstock that I first covered with double sided adhesive, die cut the shapes and then sprinkled them with Glitter in Cranberry. For the sentiment I stamped and cut it out adhering it to the middle mug. Other products I've used include: Organdy Sheer Ribbon: Lime, Cardstock: Cherry, Cherry Herringbone, Sage, Evergreen, and Glitter White.

CAS-ual Fridays Final Peek Day!!!
The CAS-ual Fridays release is available!!! Yay!!! Today we are sharing a peek of the new stamp set called Chanukah...
For this card I've used the Chalkboard technique by stamping and heat embossing the sentiment with white embossing powder onto black cardstock. I then used a white Pigment ink and my finger to add "chalk" smudges. I adhered it to a strip of glittered cardstock, a strip of ribbon, and finally onto the blue patterned paper.
Remember every day there is a giveaway on the CAS-ual Fridays Blog as well as more inspiration and peeks at the new set. Plus I have a discount for you to use when shopping...

CAS-ual Fridays Release Day 3
Hello! Are you just loving the new CAS-ual Fridays Stamps releases or what?! Today we are sharing the third stamp set that will be released called Joy, and it makes Clean and Simple Cards go together in a snap. I LOVE the large font for the sentiments on here, and these would be great for mass producing Holiday Cards this year...
Isn't it lovely? And the size is perfect for A2 cards! All I did was heat emboss the Noel sentiment in gold, colored in the snowflake with a red Spectrum Noir Blendable Color Pencil, and added a few emboss lines before adhering it to my card base. Talk about easy!
Thanks so much for stopping by now make sure you head over to the CAS-ual Friday Blog for more inspiration, peeks, and giveaways!

STAMPlorations CAS Challenge Reminder
Hi again! If you are looking for my CAS-ual Friday Release post click here, thank you! Now I'm popping in with a reminder post to join the STAMPlorations Clean and Simple Challenge. This is a month long challenge that you will find posted in the first week of every month. You are allowed to use any products in our challenges too, just no posts promoting a specific brand please. You can find full rules here. And this month we are offering the twist of the color Orange. Here is what I've created...
To create this card I've used the Many Blessings Stamps and Coordinating Dies, Fond Expressions Stamp set, as well as a retired Artplorations Woodgrain Stencil. The stenciled background was spritzed with Heidi Swapp Color Shine and set to the side to dry. I then stamped the image with Versafine Ink and used my Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color it in. I then stamped the sentiment in Brown ink and adhered it all together.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope to see you join in our challenges!

CAS-ual Fridays Release Day #2
Tag team back again, party people let's let's begin... you know you are singing it! No? Just me.... (let the slow clap begin)... hehehe! Any who, I'm back with Day #2 for the CAS-ual Fridays Stamp Release!!! And this set sells you by it's title... Bomb Diggity... enough said hehehe!
I LOVE it! I went super CAS with this card, but I think the sentiment is so fun that it doesn't need much. There are some great great splash images in this set too, as you can see the yellow ones I've added to my card. The best part is that this little guy is on a wobble so when it opens it wobbles all around.

New Stamp Company for the MarkerPOP Store
Hi! The MarkerPOP Blog is down today so I'm popping in here and on the Facebook page to share a project featuring a new to MarkerPOP Stamp company called Studio Katia. Studio Katia is a family run company based in Canada, and their stamps and dies range from super cute to pretty to essential! Today I am using the Merry Poinsettia Stamp Set along with it's coordinating dies.
To create my card I stamped my chosen images onto Watercolor Cardstock with Versafine Ink. I then colored the images in with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I also used a little clean water to help the colors blend, and finished the Poinsettia's off with some Sparkle from my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen. (This pen is also water based and it could be used to do the watercoloring if you wish, but I just didn't think about it at the time.) After the images had dried I used the dies to cut them out, and layered them onto some patterned paper. For my sentiment I used the joy word die that was in the set and die cut it three times, stacking the dies for more depth. I also went over the top layer with my Clear Sparkle Pen.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and Happy Crafting!

CAS-ual Fridays Release Preview Day 1
Woot woot! It's time for some new CAS-ual Fridays goodies to make their debut with 4 days of fun, inspiration, and of course GIVEAWAYS!!!! So let's get this party started with a peek at the new set called WTF 2. This stamp set is a sequel to the WTF Set that was discontinued, and has a few fun play on words. Plus it's perfect for those Over the Hill Celebrations...
These sentiments make me laugh! Love the big WTF, and how it has your mind going else where lol. For this card I chose to stamp my background first and color all of the 40's in with a mix of bright Spectrum Noir Markers. Next I stamped, colored, and cut the WTF out popping it up with foam adhesive. Finally I added what the WTF stood for onto strip of white cardstock backed with black.
Make sure you head over to the CAS-ual Fridays Blog for more inspiration, peeks, and giveaway details!

Watercoloring With Sparkle Pens
Hello! It's Lisa from Lisa's Creative Niche and I am so happy to be back as a Guest Designer today, and I am so thankful to Tanya and Brooke for having me! Today I wanted to share a few tips as well as a card using Sparkle Pens for watercoloring.
Sparkle Pens are perfect for watercoloring because you are able to squeeze some of the color onto a mat and use a paintbrush and water to pick it up. Plus as an added bonus everything sparkles!
For this card I started by heat embossing the Crafter's Companion Colorista Aqua Stamp Set: Love with White Embossing Powder onto Watercolor Cardstock.
I then added colors from the Spectrum Noir Summer Time Sparkle Pen Set onto my Kraft Mat. When added color to embossed images I like to lay down plain water with my brush first and then go in with a touch of color. This can create natural shading as the water dries. I did this for the entire image. I finished the card by adding a few splashes of blue, before adding the vellum sentiment from the Spectrum Noir Colorista Aqua Toppers and Vellum Set.
I chose not to add any other embellishments as I feel the sparkle from the pens was enough on it's own. A few tips I learned along the way.... A little color from these pens goes a long way. I put more color on my kraft mat than was needed, so I suggest using a little and added as you go. Second, you can choose to move the colors around with a clear Sparkle Pen after it has dried. This will give you extra shine, but remember to wipe off the brush before changing colors as it will pick up each color.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope I've inspired you to use those sparkle pens as a focal point and not just as an additive.
Happy Crafting!
