Guest Designing for The Ton Challenge Blog... Pinch Me!!!!
EEEEEKKKK!!!!! Can you believe it?! I am Guest Designing for this month's challenge on The Ton's Challenge Blog!!!! This is a huge honor, as I have been such a fan of Effie's products for the first blog hop all the way to celebrating their 3rd year just a week ago! I am so excited for how much they've grown, and just how far I know they will continue to grow... Ah-mazing products my friends! Any who, enough with my gushing and fan girling let's get on to my Project...
To create my card I started by stamping my floral bouquet from the Peony Bouquet Stamp Set with a light Distress Ink. Since the challenge is based on the word heart I knew I wanted to make a heart that blended into my project so I decided to use some spotlighting as well as a no line watercoloring technique. Once I diecut a heart out of the center of my stamped image I began to go over the outer parts of the heart with a blue from my Spectrum Noir Aqua Pencils, and I made the inside of my heart red. I love working with watercolored pencils as it is easy to build color and add details with the fine nibs. Once I was done coloring I went in with a wet brush . I then waited for everything to dry before moving on. I stamped the sentiment with Versafine ink from the Timeless Icons Sentiments Set. I wanted there to be a hint of movement in the background so I added a few splashes of gold watercolor, and finished the flowers off with Black Nuvo Drops. A strip of Burnished Foil Tape in Pink was then run down the left side of the panel before I finally added it to my cardbase.
Thank you so much for stopping by today to check out my take on the challenge! I hope you will get to play along! And a huge thank you to Effie and her amazing team for letting me tag along, this has been such a huge honor!
Happy Crafting friends!

The Ton Stamps Challenge #3
Woot woot! And I'm back for one last card! I had so much fun looking at The Ton Stamps Challenge Inspiration Photo, and seeing the different ways it inspired me. This time I used a non Christmas stamp: Purrincess and the From Ours Mini Set...
I started by tracing a circle to create my wreath image. Then I stamped the cute kitty with a bow time and created my wreath with lots of small images. I colored everything in and stamped the sentiment in a black ink. Finally the panel was foam adhered onto a strip of black glitter cardstock.
Here is the beautiful Inspiration Board:
Wishing you and your family a wonderful Holiday weekend and thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!

The Ton Stamps Challenge #2
I'm back! Here is my second take on the newest The Ton Stamps Challenge...
I LOVE a good layered stamp set and the Holiday Bows stamp set is amazing!!! Just two images makes a 3D looking bow! LOVE it! As you can tell I went super simple again, inspired by the gifts in the inspiration photos...

The Ton Stamps Challenge #1
Only 2 more sleeps until Christmas! YAY!!! I just love this time of the year, and all of the fun and anticipation that goes along with it! And I'm also excited because I finally found a few hours where I just got creative for fun... something I've been needing for quite some time. I've also been dying to play along with The Ton Stamps Challenges for several months, and each month comes and goes and i just never get around to playing along... but with my few open hours I got my Ton Stamps crafty time on, and I'm here to share them with all of you! Here is the beautiful inspirational photo that was given on The Ton Stamps Challenge blog...
For my first project I was inspired by the ballerina with what looks like a silver glitter background and lots of white...
I just love all of the fun ways you can change up her classy gown from the Born Classy Stamp set. I stamped her and added some silver glitter embossing along one side of the dress. After I colored her in I added the sentiment and adhered the panel to black cardstock. I then used the sparkles in the stamp set to create a black and white background on the cardbase.
I'll be back with two more takes on this challenge! I am also linking this up to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Party Time

ADORNit! Take 3
And I'm back! I have one last card to share that I've used the ADORNit! Hello Friend Mini Coloring Book, The Ton Stamps: Sending Peonies Stamp Set, and my Spectrum Noir Colorblend Pencils...
Out of the three cards I've shared today, I have to say that this one is my favorite. I think it is because of the brighter and more tropical colors that I've used, and I really love the touch of yellow on the leaves. For added dimension I went over some areas with a black gel pen, a white gel pen, and a gold. I will definitely be keeping this color combo in mind for future floral projects!
I am also entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp Summer Sunshine Challenge
Thanks so much for stopping by and seeing my creations today! Here is a final look at all three of the cards I've shared here on my blog and I hope I've inspired you to get those mini coloring books out and make your own clean and simple card designs!

ADORNit! Mini Take #2
Hello, hello! I'm back on this beautiful Friday to share my second card using the mix of the ADORNit Mini Coloring Book: Hello Friend, Spectrum Noir Colorblend Pencils, and The Ton Stamps.
Did I mention how much I love how well my Gamsol works on this paper. I would assume it's because of the paper being watercolor, so it helps the color to blend and holds the Gamsol better than regular cardstock would.
I also added some fun shine on this card by going over it with my Spectrum Noir Crystal Clear Sparkle Pen. I LOVE the shine it adds in real life.
Thanks again for stopping by and I hope you'll join me one last time today to see a final card created with these 3 products.

ADORNit! + Spectrum Noir = Color Happiness!
Hi! Today I will be popping in several times sharing some cards that I've created with my ADORNit Mini Coloring Book and my Spectrum Noir ColorBlend Pencils. These two work perfectly together, and here is my first card that easily came together...
To create this card I chose a page out of the Hello Friend Mini Coloring Book by ADORNit!. I then colored it in with my Spectrum Noir Colorblend Pencils. Next, I used a stamp set called Sending Peonies by The Ton to add my sentiments. As I wanted the coloring to be the main focus of my card I used a simple silver foiled cardstock to mat it before adhering it to a cardbase.
I added a few sequins to finish it off! Thanks so much for popping in and I'll be back with a few more quick and easy ADORNit! based cards :).

Sending Big Hugs With The Ton
Hello and Happy Valentine's Day!!! Today I'm popping in with another for fun card (what the heck is going on here, free time for fun, say what?!) playing along with the February Challenge hosted by The Ton Stamps:
Today's card is quite a bit different from the one I shared on Saturday. This time I've gone totally classic and romantic with a larger 5 x 7" watercolored card.
To create this card I started with Stratton Watercolor 140# Card stock. I heat embossed the large peonies image from the Sending Peonies Stamp Set twice with Gold embossing powder. I then used the wet on wet approach for adding my first layer of color. Once this was completely dry I went back over the flowers with my Clean Color Brush Markers to add contrast and details. Again I let this dry completely before stamping the sentiment with a Versafine Ink and added blue shading around the edges with a foam applicator and Distress Ink. I had thought about adding sequins, but whenever I put them on the card it just didn't feel right, so I left it as is and reminded myself that sometimes less is more.

The Ton Challenge: Love
Hi! It's me, here on a Saturday... shut the front door! hehehe! I was able to squeeze in a little play time this week and I just had to play along with The Ton's newest challenge:
And so I went a little quirky and fun this month, throwing it back old school style with this take on the challenge...
To create this card I busted out an original set called Vintage Frames. This happens to be one of my first Ton sets and I still love it :) I grabbed a panel of black cardstock, stamped the frames all over it with Versamark ink and embossed them in various bright colors. I then incorporated the love them inside the frames with more heat embossing. Since the panel was so fun and funky in itself I just had to keep going and adhered it with a panel of bright pink cardstock at an angle.
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my card today!

Born Classy : The Ton Stamps Challenge
Hello! So I'm popping in on a Sunday to share a fun watercolored card based on the Ton Stamps Challenge: Celebrate! I love the Ton Stamps, and recently they had an incredible release followed with a new monthly challenge blog, eeeekkk!!!! So here is my take on the challenge...
As I was in need of a Birthday card I reached for my Born Classy Stamp Set and just had fun! I love the fashionably elegant girl and the way you can personalize her dress. I started by watercoloring her and her dress first. Once this was dry I added in my background. All of my images were stamped with Versafine Ink, except for the gold dots which were stamped and embossed in gold. I added one final touch of shimmer to the panel by flicking some paint from my Gansai Tambi Starry Night Watercolor set. I then layered the panel with a strip of Burnished Rose Gold Foil Tape on the left hand side. And of course it needed some sequins to complete the look, so I busted out my Gala Invitation and Purple Ball Gown Couture Mixes.

Miss You...
Hi! I'm popping in to share one final take on The Ton's National Craft Month Challenge! Now this time I didn't use the colors that were given to inspire, but instead I just played and had fun with my Ton stamps and gilding...
To create this card I started by stamping and embossing the stars in gold from the Panda Can't Even Stamp set. I then layered the whole panel with water before dropping in random blue, purple and black watercolors. I set this to the side to dry and stamped the panda on a side card stock. I then started trimming it with scissors. I then diecut a hill and the watercolor panel. I added a few white splatters to the background and stamped my sentiment from the Vintage Frames set. I added the little panda to the hill and finished it with some sequins from from the Purple Ballgown Couture Mix. I then popped all of this up on some Amy Tangerine patterned paper and tied some black twine at the top.

You're the Cat's Meow...
oh yes you are! I am back with one more take on The Ton's Color Palette Challenge. This time I'm playing with their Purrincess stamp set, which is just too cute might I add...
I started this time by stamping the cat on separate card stock and coloring it in, and trimmed it out. I then used a scalloped oval die to trace onto another white panel, so I could stamp the little yarn mess in the background in the colors provided on the Color Palette that was given. Next I die cutted the scalloped oval frame and adhered it right over the stamped background. I added a sentiment in the bottom right corner of the panel, and with a strip of gold glitter card stock I layered it all onto the cardbase.
Thank you for stopping by, and if this is your second time around double thanks! :)

Birthday Card with The Ton
Hi! I'm popping in on this lovely Monday to share a Birthday card I've made based on the latest Color Palette Challenge with The Ton. Now I have to say my photo quality is not the best as I had to take my pictures of it on a rainy dark morning, but it is already on its way as happy mail so it's the best I could do. When I saw The Ton was having a challenge I just had to play along because I LOVE their products, and getting to play with them is always fun! Here's what I've created...
I brought out my very first Ton Stamp set for this card called Vintage Frames for the top part and one of their newer sets called Timeless Icons Sentiment Set for the sentiment on the bottom. I used the colors in the color palette that was given for my frames up top...
I finished it all off with some sequins from a couple of couture mixes.
Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

Happy Birthday Puuurrrincess!
Hi! So I just couldn't hold out on sharing this cute little card that I've created with some goodies from The Ton Stamps, and since my daughter is only turning 5 and has no access to a computer I can totally share this cutie without spoiling the surprise of it, hehehe!
Total freaking cuteness right?! I just love this kitty from the Purrincess stamp set, and it is so purrfect for my little girl with a tiara on top! ( I know, I know... really, Lisa? Sorry! i couldn't help it!) Anywho, I stamped the little kitty and sparkly background first. Then I used various Copics for coloring her in and the coloring around her. I then enclosed her in a shaker Polaroid with some Couture sequins, also from The Ton, popped it up on some sparkly paper and there ya have it!
I can't wait to see her face when she opens it!
I am entering this little girl into the Seize the Birthday Challenge. Thanks so much for stopping by to visit today!

WCMD Challenges Galore!
Hello! I'm linking up my second card today for lots of challenges yay!!! To create this card I started by cutting out my star backing for the shaker out of watercolor paper, the star frame from a gorgeous DCWV Shimmer stack, and a final star from acetate. I then used distress ink in Peacock to watercolor my backing star for the shaker element and set it to dry. I then adhered the frame cut and acetate together, added some sequins from The Ton, and ta - da the star shaker was ready to go. Next I stamped my sentiment from The Ton's Round Diamonds Stamp set as well as little stars from their Panda Can't Even stamp set onto a light grey cardstock.

Sending Hugs to The Ton Stamps
Hello! Happy World Card Making Day!!!! Yay!!! I finally get to play along this year, woot woot! The first card I am sharing is based on The Ton's WCMD Challenge of Anything using The Ton Stamps. I LOVE The Ton... Effie is truly a kind, sincere, and talented lady, and I've been a super fan of her and her products since their first release. Ok, enough gushing and stamp crushing hehehe! Here is the card I've created...
To create this card I started by creating the background by over laying edge diecuts in various cardstock colors. Then I stamped my happy little panda from the Panda Can't Even stamp set and fussy cut him out. I then popped him up with some foam adhesive. I stamped my sentiment along the bottom from the same stamp set. I then added some picked out gilding pieces from the Strawberries and Cream Couture Mix and Royal Garden Party Couture Mix as well as some heart confetti I had myself.
