favorite color - monochromatic challenge!

I skipped to the favorite color - monochromatic challenge for the paper variety's blogaverary celebration, because I thought this would be so much fun!  I love the color black so I made this card for my parents wedding anniverary...

Paper : all from quick quotes
acetate: quick quotes
I handmade the flower and the paper bow
adhesive: scotch ATG and their quick dry adhesive

I love using only paper in various ways!  Thanks for looking, and Happy Blogaverary Paper Variety!

Queen of My Craftroom DT Remembering September 11th

This week at Queen of My Craftroom's we will be remembering September 11th, those who lost their lives and those whose lives were forever changed by that terrible day 10 years ago.  Thank you to all of those who helped in some way or form on that very tragic day.  I am sure everyone can still remember exactly what they were doing on that day and I know I surely will never forget where I was and how I felt and still feel.  This is just a very tiny symbol of remembrance for all of us...

To make this card I used:
Paper: Quick Quotes Just Jackson
Memories Black Ink Pad
Ribbon sheer white and thin cream is from my stash
Stamps: Martha Stewart Alphabet stamp set
I - Rock Tool
I - Rock gems
Star shaped brad

Thank you so very much for looking, please make sure you stop by the Queen's Craftroom to see what the other Design Team members have created for you.
Take care and God Bless America,

Black and White with a little bit of red...

Here is a card I made for a wedding we are attending this upcoming weekend, and I found a challenge over at CAS-ual Friday's using the colors black and white with a little big of red...

I love casual fridays because their rules are to keep it clean and simple! Love it! For this card I used:

black, white, and red basic cardstock

swiss dots embossing folder
memories dye inkpad black
I-Rock tool and black i-gems
and the stamp is from an old wedding set ( sorry ! )

Please stop over and see what others have created for this weeks challenge, their work is absolutely amazing!

Fantastastic News and a card!

I have some very exciting news that I have been dying to share with all of you!  I made the Design Team for Queen of my Craftroom!!!!!  Woo hoo!!!  This is the first design team I have ever been on so I am super excited and can't wait to start sharing my designs with all of you each week!  Please make sure you stop over to Michelle's blog and leave some loving for the other DT members!

I also wanted to post a project... I promise I do much more crafting than has been shown on here as of late, but it seems that I am always making things for others that I don't want them to see on here before I give it to them!  So here is a card I made for my sister-in-law's birthday...

Paper: DCWV It's all about girls stack
MPS pinkalicious stamp set
Create a Critter Cartridge
Pop dots
Pearl accent from JoAnn's dollar section

Have a fantastic weekend and Happy crafting!
