Hello!!!  It is blog hop day for The Alley Way Stamps, yay!!! And these new sets are so fun and perfect for the upcoming Holidays.  Today I am sharing a card I've created with the new Waddle Pals Stamp Set, as well as an older set called Winter's Butterflies...

The little penguins in this set are so darn cute!  I just love how this one looks like he is dancing or skating.  I thought he needed to be dancing in the snow, with the sentiment I chose, and it makes me smile.  To create this card I stamped this penguin on the side, colored with Copics, and fussy cut him out.  Then I embossed my background and added some snowy hills for my Penguin and sentiment.  Add some sequins and ta-da!

The Alley Way Stamps Sneak Peek

Hello!  Today is a fun day because I am sneaking a peek of the newest TAWS stamp set called Mistletoe Kisses!!!! It is going to be a must have for this Holiday Season, as it has lots of great Holiday images in a smaller size for more options.  I chose to create sweet and simple tags that will be perfect for mass production come Christmas time, check them out...

Of course there is lots of fun to be had with these images, and while my tags are more basic I wanted to show that this set is easy to use at all levels and you don't need to do too much to create beautiful tags that will be a nice personal touch this Holiday Season!

I am also linking these guys up to the Simon Says No Designer Paper Challenge

Happy Crafting and don't miss more peeks at this new set on The Alley Way Stamps Blog!

Anything Goes with SweetStamps.com

Hello!  It is a new week and that means a new anything goes challenge is starting at SweetStamps.com, woo hoo!!!  This week I am sharing a bit of a satirical journal page that I've created with lots of SweetStamps.com goodies...

hehehe!  I was just in one of those moods when I started crafting, so I went with it! :)  To create this page I first started by covering my background with a mix of white gesso and Forest Shades ink spot and my finger.  After this dried I went over the background with the Circle Pavers Stencil and Forest ink again in various spots. Next came the embossing of the sentiment and girl.  For a fun play with colors I stamped some Creative Corner images like arrows in funky colors like Butterscotch and Paprika.  I then stamped some itty bitty dots in Montego Bay shades ink and splattered two of the corners with Dylusions ink spray in Crushed Grape.

Sometimes it's fun to just get messy, right?

I am entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge: No Designer Paper

Hope to see you link up to our Anything Goes this week!

A One Layer Party...

Hello, hello!  I feel like I've been on a one layer kick lately, and today is no different.  I'm sharing this fun one layer card that screams "Party" quite literally here and on The Alley Way Stamps Blog today. With a little bit of masking, stamping and coloring this card was a cinch to make...

To create this card I used the BIG TimeIt's My Party!, and an older set called Moosing You.  I stamped the sentiment first and then masked it before stamping the balloons and confetti.

Let's Party... Bold and Bright

It's Monday, woot woot!  We have just gotten back from our Disney Vacation last week ( that was why it was a bit quiet here hehehe! ), and trying to get back into the groove of things.  I am popping in to share this bright and bold card here and on The Alley Way Stamps Blog today...

This card is really bright and funky, isn't it?  It sort of came together by happy accident.  I had stamped the sentiment from the Big Time Stamp Set in versamark ink and embossed it in clear, just to play around with how it would look on colored paper.  Then while I kept looking at it I thought why not throw so fun splashes of color in various inks and watch it resist on the sentiment... hence, ta da! hehehe!  I adhered it all to some fun patterned papers and added some bright embellishments to tie the whole thing together!

So go on, get inky, have fun, get messy and just see what happens.. you might just surprise yourself!

Hello, hello, hello!

Hello!!! I'm so happy to be sharing a cute little card with the new Flap Happy Stamp Set from The Alley Way Stamps today...

I created this little window scene and can't help giggling every time I see it!  I love a card that does that, don't you?  The super cute little birds in this set are just too fun to play with!  I started by die cutting my little windows and tracing them onto my cardbase.  I then stamped my little birdies in each window and colored them in with various Copics.  I then decided they needed to look like they were indeed outside looking in so I added the sky with Broken China Distress Ink.  Finally I added my patterned papers and stamped my sentiment from the More Than Words Stamp Set.

A Little Birdie Told Me...

Hello, hello!  I am sharing a soft and sweet card today here and on The Alley Way Stamps Blog that can be used for many occasions.  Sometimes we just have things come up that we think, darn I wish I had a card made, so this one would be perfect for such a situation...

To create this card I started by watercoloring my background with Peerless Watercolors in blue and purple.  I then went ahead and stamped my little owl image from the Flap Happy Stamp Set on separate cardstock, colored him in with Copics, and fussy cut him out.  Next I die cut the small panel to place him on and embellished it all with a bow and some sequins.  The sentiment was the last thing to add.

I am adding this to the Time Out Challenge: Make Your Mark

Happy Crafting and thank you so much for stopping by!

Hip-Hip-Hooray!!!!

It's Wednesday, yay!!!!  Today I am here and on the Alley Way Stamps Blog sharing this colorful and almost one layer card.  If I hadn't done my card on a panel of watercolor cardstock this card would have been one layer, as nothing else is separate, but technicalities say it's different, booo! hehehe!  Anywho, I hope this bright little guy brings you a smile...

To create this card I started by stamping the little turtle from the It's My Party Stamp Set first and masking him off.  Next I used a stencil and various distress inks to create my fun background.  I then added a few water droplets for more interest.  Once this dried I removed my mask and colored this little guy in with Copics.  Finally I stamped my sentiments and adhered the whole panel to my cardbase.

I am adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Make It Colorful Challenge
and in the Time Out Challenge: Make Your Mark

Bat's the way I like it!

Hello! I'm popping in a bit late, I am sorry to say, to share this cute little treat holder I've made for the newest Anything Goes Challenge at SweetStamps.com...

To create this little guy I used the Pillow Box Punch Board after going over my Art Stencil Going Batty with Distress Ink.  I then created my little tag with the Artsy Fartsy Halloween Silhouettes Stamp Set.  I just love this sentiment in this set, hehehe!  I tied it on with a little twine, and viola!  The perfect halloween treat box is ready to go!

Can't wait to see what you create for this challenge, remember anything goes!!!

29... again?

hehehe!  I love this sentiment, and it is so me... but shhhh don't tell my kids that!  Anywho, happy Labor Day and I am popping in here and on The Alley Way Stamps Blog to share this funny little birthday card I have created using the new It's My Party Stamp Set...

Isn't he just perfect for that sentiment? hehehe!  To create this card I started by cutting my fringe paper and layering onto my cardbase.  I then stamped my little turtle right above the top layer and colored him in with various Copics.  I stamped my sentiment in the upper left corner and decided to round my top corners.  Finally I added some washi and twine just underneath my little guy.

I am adding this card to the Simon Says Stamp Make it Colorful Challenge

Aren't these guys so cute?!  I just want to squeeze them! hehehe!  Anywho, to create this card I started by stamping the kitty in the middle, masking him and adding to friends to the sides of him.  I then used Copics to color them in and add the background.  The party hats were paper pieced with a strip from the background panel.  I them stamped my Sentiment with fun bright colors and added some rhinestones for extra shine!

Especially for You... Anything Goes Challenge at SweetStamps.com

Hello beautiful readers!!!  Did you see all of the awesome new stamps that were just released for preorder at SweetStamps.com?!  LOVE!!!!  I can't wait to get my hands on some of them myself!  Anywho, we have started a new monthly challenge at SweetStamps.com, and it's going to be a popular one for sure.... as it will always be ANYTHING GOES!!! woo hoo!!!!  Just link up anything you've newly created and share it with us!  Make sure you read the full rules on how to win over on their blog.

Now onto what I've created....  I recently received a kit of the new SweetStamps.com microfine glitters and couldn't wait to play with them...

I must admit that some of this card was purely accidental.  Yes, I wanted to create a card with the glitters and a diecut with multiple colors, but unintentionally I was able to use to colors of cardstock as well when some of the pieces didn't diecut all the way through.  This was no fault of the dies, but simply because I forgot to use my metal adapter when running this intricate sweetcut through my machine... oooppsss, and yay! hehehe!  I started by die cutting with colored cardstock.  I then used a trimmed piece of double sided adhesive sheet on a create cardstock and ran this through my machine with the die. I then peeled certain pieces away and added one color glitter, then took off more pieces for another color and so forth until the whole thing was covered.  I then adhered this to my colored cardstock diecut and adhered the this to the cardbase. The sentiment was stamped last in a coordinating color and ta - da!  whew!  I hope I didn't lose you along the way of this explanation!
Can't wait to see what you create this month!
Happy Crafting!
