Happy HSN Craft Day!!!

Woo hoo!!!  It is time to celebrate new products by Crafter's Companion during the 24hour craft even on HSN!!!  Every time Crafter's Companion sends me their newest products to work with I just keep thinking this is the best thing ever!  And seriously every month it is!!!  Take a peek at a few projects I've created for today's event...

Both of these sets of projects were created using the newest Crafters Companion Box Kit.  This month the box featured Sparkle Pens, and it was so fun to explore this particular product.  I focused on blending with the colors in the kit and used a mix of emboss resist techniques, watercoloring with the pens and stamping my own images to color with the stamp set that comes in the kit.  If you are looking to explore various products by Crafters Companion the Box Kits are the way to go.

These two cards feature new Create-a-card Base Dies.  I love how these particular dies make shaped cards so so easy to create.  I also love that you can create matching frame within that shape.

This final project features the new accordion dies, which are a new to me product.  I love the fun and whimsical flare these dies can add to any project.  And wait until you see all of the creative ways various team members have used them too!

While, those are all of the photos from me you HAVE to get over to HSN and check out all of the other new goodies being released.  Did I mention inkpads, fairies, and more?!  You can also join the Facebook fan group for more inside looks at new products as well as to join in their giveaways by clicking here.

Happy Crafting/Shopping!!!

Let's Shell-ebrate!

Hello!!!  It's Lisa here today and I'm still in a party mood here after the celebrating the 4th, so I mixed that with the heat we've been experiencing in Ohio and came up with this cutie...

And all of this came from one little mini stamp set called Shell-ebration and with their Brush Waves Stencil! To create my card I started by going over my stencil with various Distress Oxide Inks.  While the stencil was still in place I spritzed it with Distress Resist Spray ( I LOVE how shiny this made my background, and it really added to the water look).  I removed the stencil and covered the background with more distress inks to complete my ocean water.  I finished the panel by diecutting it with a postage die from Winnie and Walter Stamps.

I then stamped and colored the turtles, hat, and presents on separate cardstock and cut it all out.  The sentiment was stamped onto a light blue cardstock with a dark blue ink to blend in with my stenciled background.  I finished the card off by adhering everything together and finally adding that panel onto some patterned paper.  ( I also added a few small sequins for a bubble effect )

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
