Some Kind of Wonderful...

Happy Friday friends!  Ohio has had lovely weather lately ( not including today which is rainy and a bit chilly lol ), and with all of the flowers popping up in my yard I couldn't help but to create a floral card with newer Altenew goodies from the Crafty Doodle Chick Store...

You can find my full post and project over on the Crafty Doodle Chick Blog and I do hope you will get a few moments to stop by and check it out!

Spring Fling with Stamplorations and Daily Prizes!!!

Hello!  I am so excited to get to take part in the Stamplorations Spring Fling Event!!!  This event is full of inspiration, fun, and daily giveaways... 12 WHOLE DAYS!!!  For my card today I've used the same products to create two very different looks...

(Supplies Used: STAMPlorations Sketched: Tulips Stamp Set (Retired), CUTplorations: Hello Sunshine and Art Edges)  Tip: Use Framed Tulips Stamp Set in place of the Tulips I've used.

For the first card I stamped my flowers onto a white panel and colored them in.  Next I die cut the one edge and diecut my sentiment from pink cardstock.  I then adhered this panel to yellow cardstock and finished it off with a few flat back rhinestones.  After looking at my scrap from my die cut sentiment I came up with the idea to make a second card featuring the negative of my cut as the center of my card.  I then stamped the same image in the lower right corner, but this time I found no need to color the flowers in.  I adhered this to yellow cardstock and finally onto blue patterned paper.  I added a few colorful sequins and viola!  Two cards with very little supplies and effort!  And for a working mom like me, it's perfect.

Make sure you head over to the STAMPlorations blog for more inspiration, giveaway details and fun!

Happy Crafting and Thanks for stopping by!!!
