STAMPlorations Stencil Blog Hop Featuring: Sanna Lippert Designs

Hello!  I am so excited to be able to take part in the STAMPlorations Stencil Blog Hop!  Today we are celebrating the addition of Sanna Lippert Designs in the STAMPlorations Store.  Her stencils are so fun, and intricate there are so many various ways that they can be used.  Since I am part of the Clean and Simple Team I've decided to use my stencils in very CAS way.  Take a peek...

For my first card I've used the beautiful new Leaves 1 Stencil with Gold Embossing Paste.  I love how delicate these leaves look and the gold really makes the whole card feel elegant.  Once the panel dried I adhered it to my cardbase.  For a sentiment I've used the Be Kind Phrase Die and popped it up with a strip of vellum and gold cardstocks.  I finished the card off with a few clear and gold sequins.

For my second card I've used the new Flowers 1 Stencil.  This card makes for a beautiful background that can also become the main focal point.  I love how tall and thin the stems are for the flowers and how they seem to be reaching up towards the sun.  This time I decided to use my stencil with an emboss resist technique.

To create this card I started by going over the stencil with my Versamark Ink Pad, when I removed the stencil I was able to heat emboss the image with white embossing powder.  Distress Oxides blend so beautifully that I knew they would be perfect for my background. I used a fun mix of Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers, and Fossilized Amber to go over the embossed image.  Since the flowers felt playful in these colors I decided to adhere them to a black panel and then angle it all onto my cardbase.  I used black again for die cutting my Hello Sunshine Phrase Die and added it right along the bottom.

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking my projects out today!  I also have a code you can use to save you 20% off your total purchase! YAY!

A Muse Studio Release: Hip Hip Hooray!

Hi!  Are you having a good week so far?  I've been having a blast playing with the new A Muse Studio goodies that will be available at the end of this week for you to buy! YAY!!!  Today I am playing with the Hip Hip Hooray Stamp Set, this set is small with two images and a sentiment, but I love finding as many ways as possible to use sets like this for a bigger bang for your buck.

To create this card I started by stamping the cake and cupcake images all over watercolor cardstock to create a fun background.  To color the images in I used my Zig Color Clean Markers and then added water to blend the color out.   For the sentiment I stamped and embossed it with White Embossing powder onto Onyx Cardstock.  I then adhered the panel to the Onyx Cardbase.

Did I mention that this set is your FREE with any $50 purchase?!  Awesome!!!!

Guest Designing for Gerda Steiner Designs!!!

Yay!!!  I'm so excited to be Guest Designing on the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog today!  Her stamps are so darn adorable, and I feel so blessed to be able to work with one of the cutest new sets called Reindeer and a Tree.

Hehehe!  I just love the little faces on the deer and had a blast stamping, coloring and cutting each one of these guys out.  Once that was done I started working on my background panel.  I stamped the tree and went to town coloring it all in with various Spectrum Noir Markers.  Next I adhered the deer, Santa, and the ornaments to the front of the card before adding snow with my White Gel Pen.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  You'll want to check out the Gerda Steiner Designs Store to see more cuties you'll just have to have... can you say adorable, huggable penguins?! eeeekkk!!!

It's Snowing on the CAS-ual Fridays Blog

Hello!  Today I am over on the CAS-ual Fridays Blog sharing a serene snowy scene featuring the Funky Flakes Fri-die Set and the Snowy Sayings Stamp Set.  Both of which are on sale right now! (Plus I have a discount code at the end of this post for extra savings, score!)

I am a sucker for all things snowflakes, and this die set is one of my favorites because of it's intricacies, and range in sizes.  For this card I started by diecutting several of the snowflakes out of one white panel.  I then layered the positive cut over the negative and added a piece of DCWV blue shimmer cardstock.  For my sentiment I heat embossed it with silver embossing powder and added a strip of silver shimmer cardstock.  The silver confetti sequins were the perfect finishing touch.

Thanks so much for stopping by and here is your discount code to save even more in the CAS-ual Fridays Store:

STAMP-lorations CAS Challenge

Hi!  Today the CAS team for STAMP-lorations is sharing another take on this month's Challenge with the twist of Brown.

Supplies Used: Strong Women and Happy Sunflower Stamp Sets, Gansai Tambi Watercolor, Embossing Powder in Gold and White, Gems

To create this card I started by stamping and embossing my flower onto watercolor cardstock. I used my watercolors to loosely color the flower in and then dried it with my heat gun.  For the background I used various Browns and a Metallic Copper.  Once this was dry I stamped and embossed my sentiment and added some gems.  I then framed the panel twice with two different browns.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I can't wait to see what you create for the challenge!  Remember all products are welcome! :)

Supplies Used:
Distress Oxide Ink: Broken China and Fossilized Amber

Totally Alice in Wonderland, right?  I had so much fun creating this whacky tag scene!  As soon as I saw the Snailed It Stamp Set I was sold!  It is so unique and full of great images to really let your imagination get creative.  And the Concertina Tag is another cool new product that is available.  You can choose to leave the tags together for fun scenes as I've created, or for a unique trifold tag look, and so much more.  Or you can choose to trim the tags and use them as three separate tags!  Love it!

CAS-ual Fridays Surprise Release!!!

Hello!  I have some exciting news for you today... CAS-ual Friday's Stamps has a special release today!!!  There were so many requests for a matching die set for the Tutu Stamp Set that Michele went ahead and had one made! So they are available now!  And while she was at it she also created a similar stamp set called Sugar Plum Fairy, and it is oh so sweet!  In fact it's what I've used to make my projects today...

This set had me thinking of sweets, and so I decided to create a cookie box.  I stamped and embossed the Sugar Plum Fairy onto acetate and set aside.  I then created my box and stamped embossed lots of snowflakes found in this set.  I cut a circle in the top of my box and adhered my stamped acetate to it.
I then used the tree sentiment as a tag by embossing it onto green cardstock and cutting it out.  The white twine was perfect for tying it closed.

For my second project I stamped the fairy and snowflakes onto Kraft cardstock with black ink for a very clean and classic look...

And to top it all off, the dies for the Tutu set will also work for this set!  Who doesn't love a bigger bang for their buck?  The fun doesn't stop there either, for a discount on your entire purchase use this code...

MarkerPOP Challenge

Hello, hello!  Have you seen the newest MarkerPOP Challenge?  They now run their challenges in a FB group, so make sure you join so you can play along!  The latest challenge is such a happy one that I had all kinds of ideas...

Who doesn't love Rainbows?  And since I'm in a Holiday Crafty Mood I mixed the two themes to create my card...

To create this card I started by cutting strips of paper from my Sugar Pea Designs Spots and Stripes Brights.  Next I stamped the second sentiment along the bottom of my cardbase, and stamped the Alpaca and begging part of the sentiment onto a different piece of cardstock.  I went ahead and die cutted a mix of snowflakes from glitter cardstock and adhered everything to the front of my card.  I just LOVE it!

I hope this little guy brought you a smile today, and Happy Crafting!

Happy HSN Day!!!!

Woo hoo!!!  It's time to party on HSN with Crafter's Companion!!!!!  And it's a day full of awesomeness as Sara is celebrating her 10 year anniversary!!!!  Plus, did you hear about the reveal of the new Gemini Jr.?!  Ah-mazing!!!!

Here are some peeks at projects I've created with the goodies available today...

This beautiful card was created with the new Flutterby Create a Card Die set, Flutterby Paper Pad, and Luxury Cardstock.  These cards are always so pretty and delicate looking thanks to the intricacy in the die set itself.

My next project features a new Foiling Birthday Kit!  The Crafters Companion Foiling Kits are awesome and better yet they need no heat or other machines!  Take a peek at this sweet tag I was able to create...

And that wooden background?  Super cool as it is adhesive sheets of wood!  Genius I tell ya!  To add color I just went over the background with three different colors of Spectrum Noir Markers.  And here is an added tip for working with the foils.  If you own a Gemini (the mac daddy of cutting machines!) then you can lay your pattern onto your paper, run it through the machine for a flat and even application, and then rub the foil over top.  You can even put the foil on top and run it through the machine again if you'd like and that works just as well!

Hope you will join in the fun, inspiration, and giveaways going on in the FB group!

Happy Crafting!

25 Tags of Christmas With CAS-ual Fridays

Yay!!!  I just love when Tracey McNeely hosts her 25 Tags of Christmas, and I'm super excited that I get to be a part of it!  Today's Feature is CAS-ual Fridays!!!!  And I simply adore being a Girl Friday. Michelle is not only a creative designer but she is a wonderful person with a huge heart.  Each time I have a chance to share something with one of her designs I feel truly blessed and honored to be a part of such a wonderful company and team.  With that said here is my tag to share with all of you...

For my tag I opted to create a shaped tag.  The Sleighride Stamp and Die Sets are some of my favorite Holiday sets.  There is just something about a sleigh that makes me feel warm, cozy, and happy!  After Diecutting my tag shape I stamped the front of it with the sleigh itself and colored it in with a mix of Spectrum Noir Markers. For a sentiment I chose Joyeux Noel Sentiment from the Noel Fri-dies out of Gold Glitter Cardstock.  I then added some Holly and Sparkle with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen.  To finish the tag I tied some white ribbon through a hole in the top and added a twine bow.

Make sure you head over to Tracey's blog for more details and giveaway information!  Thank you so much for stopping by and checking my tag out!  And I have one more goody to share with you...

Sneaks of New Crafters Companion Goodies!!!! HSN Nov.6th

Woot woot! It is time to share some new goodies coming to HSN on November 6th by Crafters Companion!!!! Did you see the release of the new Gemini Jr.?!  EEEKKK!!!  All that power, but smaller and more affordable!

Today I'm popping in with a card using the Flutterby Collection, in particular the stamp and die set as well as their new Spectrum Noir ColourTint Pencils...

I love the magnitude of this Butterfly image!  I also love the way the dies cut just the sides of the butterfly out to allow for beautiful and unique edges.  I stamped the image twice so that I could layer them up for dimension.  I then colored both images with the ColourTint Pencils.  These pencils are beautiful and blend so nicely together.  Plus they are activated with water, and that is when the color really packs a punch.  On this particular card I did not add the water as I really liked the way the color was going down on here.  I then cut the first image out completely and die cut just the one edge of the other.

I layered the two butterflies up and added some foam in-between the wings for extra support.  I layered them both onto the gold cardstock.  The Hello die also comes from the Flutterby Collection and was cut from the Luxury Cardstock in Gold.  The background to the butterfly felt a little plain so I added some gold splashes to finish it off.

I hope you'll join us in the FB party group for more inspiration and lots of giveaways. (Including the Gemini Jr.!)  And join us for a day full of fun on HSN November 6th!

Happy Crafting!
