Hello! It is time to send out a little reminder about this month's STAMPlorations Clean and Simple Challenge with the twist to use the color purple. I've created a second card to inspire you to join us for this month's challenge:
To create this card I started with a Strathmore Watercolor Card 140#. I then adhered the Peony.1 ARTploration Stencil and spritzed with a purple ink spray. I then removed the mask, cleaned it and allowed the area to dry. Now some of the areas did get color under the stencil, so to help define the floral image itself I went in with some Prismacolor Pencils. This gave me a much harsher look than what I had initially intended. But there was no way I was throwing this card away, so I put on my thinking cap and vellum immediately popped in my brain. I then added a layer of vellum over the floral image, and I love it! Vellum for the save! I then stamped my sentiment from the Blooming Buds Stamp Set onto the vellum with black STAZ ON ink. Once this had dried I added some pearls as embellishments, but also as a way to hide the adhesive to adhere the vellum onto the cardbase.
Thanks so much for stopping by and can't wait to see what you create!
Happy Crafting!
