Hi! I'm back! yay!!! Today I am finishing this week off with one more take on the Altenew A Year in Review Challenge, by playing along with August 2016 Challenge...
I was so happy with the way this turned out ( ok minus the one crooked "you" up there in the sentiments, but after having everything else sitting perfectly on this card I couldn't bare to scrap it! Besides, I know someone will still love getting this in the mail! ). To create this card I started by stamping and embossing the Beautiful Day floral images onto vellum. I then colored on the back sides with various markers and trimmed them out. I then layered them onto some grey cardstock and added some more floral images around it with a tone on tone look. I then added the strip of silver washi tape along the top of the panel before stamping my sentiment. To complete the look I added some clear sequins topped with one clear bead each.
I am entering this into the Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes Challenge
And like I said, I love this card flaws and all!
Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy New Year!

Hello My Old Friend...
I'm so excited that I was able to squeeze a layout in before the end of the year!!! I have missed creating layouts big time, but I didn't realize how much until I started creating this one. It also didn't hurt that Santa brought me a Cricut Explore Air 2 for Christmas and I have been dying to use some freebie die cut downloads I've had saved up...
Isn't she just too cute?! I've used products from the November Hip Kit Club Main Kit and I'm so happy with how it turned out. The snowflake die cut background is from The Scrapbook and Cards Free Cut Downloads!

Cheers...
Hi! I am over on the Mint Owl Studio Blog today sharing a fun and bright card that is perfect for ringing in the new year...
To create this card I used the stars from the Birthday Bash Stamp set and stamped it in several bright colors. I then stamped the cheers, glasses and arrows from the Scripty Sentiments Stamp Set onto a tag. I layered this all onto my cardbase and finished it off with some matching sequins.
I'm linking this up to the Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes Challenge

Best Day In the Year
Hi! Happy Friday, and yay Christmas is so close!!! Today I am joining in the Altenew A Year in Review Challenge, and I have chosen to work with the December color palette...
To create this card I started by stamping the floral images from the Striped Florals Stamp Set and watercolored them with my Gansai Tambi set. These were then set to the side to dry. Next I added some splashes onto a panel with left over red watercolor. I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Quotes stamp set across the middle of the panel with Versafine Ink. I then added one of the beautiful Fenstone Decrative Embellishments on either side of the sentiment. Once the floral images were dry I trimmed them out and added them to the card base along with sequins.
Thank you so much for stopping by and Happy Holidays!

Deck the Halls
Hi! Today I'm over on the Mint Owl Studio Blog sharing this sweet and bright little Christmas card...
Isn't he just so cute? This little guy comes from the I Moose You Stamp Set and I've used my new Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color him, and the background in. Now I know this is kind of a Christmas card, so why did I make a spring background... well hey! Some places don't get snow at Christmas, so that's where this guy is... somewhere that it doesn't snow hahaha! I then used the Banner Sentiments 2 Set for my sentiment and stamped it onto a banner die cut. I finished it off with a bow in the corner from the Packaged Pretty Die Set.
I am also entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Wed. Challenge: Make It Sparkle
I hope this card has brightened your day a bit and Happy Crafting!

Aloha...
Yep, I'm posting a warm, summer, vacationy card in the middle of December... Why, you might ask? Cause it's my blog and I can post if I want too hehehe! Really it's because I really wanted to play along in the Anything Goes Mix it Up Challenge happening on the Sugar Pea Designs Blog and I needed something to warm me up...
Another fun thing about this card is that it gave me a chance to try a technique I have only done maybe once, a year or two ago? To create this card I started by inking a panel with versa mark ink and heating it up with gold embossing powder. I then redid this around four times until the embossing powder was nice and thick. While it was still warm I smooshed the crap out of my pineapple stamp :), and ta-da! I finished it off by trimming it, adding my sentiment at the top with Versafine ink and paneling it in black and pink cardstock. I LOVE it! And while the picture is cool, it is so much cooler in person!
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out my blog today!
Happy Crafting!

Callin' All Sistahs December Blog Hop: Make Time
Hi! I hope you are having a fabulous weekend so far! I am here hopping along with my sistahs today to remind you to perform your monthly breast exam. Time can mean so much when we are discussing Breast Cancer, and it honestly makes a difference so that's why this month's theme is to Make Time... No excuses! Feel em up, and be aware!
Every month we hop along sharing inspiration and awareness and we would love you to join us by using any of your CASual Friday Callin All Sistahs products. Don't own any yet? Grab some for yourself and use my code at the end of this post for a discount. Plus a portion of the profit is donated by Michele, owner of CASual Friday and Breast Cancer Survivor herself, to the NationalBreastCancer.org organization. So win win!
Now onto my project for today...
I know it isn't very time of the year oriented, but I was craving some color, and since the adult coloring craze is still happening I made a coloring page inspired card using lots of great sets including: Pretty Posies, GirlFriend, Snowy Sayings, and Callin All Sistahs. I used lots of Copic® Markers to color it in and finished it off with some matching sequins.
Now make sure you start at the beginning of the hop for more inspiration and a chance to win some prizes!
~$15 gift certificates will be given away to (3) people that comment along the hop

12 Tags of Christmas With a Feminine Twist Day #11
Whew, and here is post 3... This time I'm sharing a tag based on the 12 Tags of Christmas With a Feminine Twist Day #11.
And here is my tag...
I just love the gorgeous wreath that Kitty Shared, and while mine is totally lacking I had fun interpreting the look on my own. Since this was a country theme I also chose to add some canvas in the background for texture and I worked with brown, green and gold colors.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you've enjoyed my interpretations of tags!

12 Tag of Christmas with a Feminine Twist Day #8
Ok here I am popping in with this mini tag based on the 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist Day #8.
And here is what I've created...
I love the colorful lines on Kelly's tag and so I've re-created (mine are a little more wonky hehehe!) that look here on my mini tag using Zig Pearlescent Watercolors and my Lawn Fawn Fairy Set.
I'll be back with one more!

Tag #1 With a Feminine Twist Day #2
Hi! Today I'm going to pop in quickly with 3 little posts sharing tags that I've created based on this year's Ellen Hutson's 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist. And this first one is based on Day #2...
And here is what I've created...
I was inspired by the lovely colors and coloring on Kay's tag, and although it is hard to see it in the photos the Believe and star are cut from DCWV Glitz Paper, which has such a beautiful glitter shine with a smooth finish.
Be sure to check out my other two tags as they post later today!

ARTplorations Stencil Blog Hop
Hello! I'm so happy you've made your way to my blog today! If you've stumbled upon this hop make sure you click over to the beginning on the STAMPlorations blog as you won't want to miss a thing!
I've chosen to work with the Broken Glass Stencil in a fun way, take a look...
To create this card I've used the Happy Word Die, the Birthday Word Die, the Balloons and Banners Stamp Set as well as the ARTplorations Broken Glass Stencil. I wanted to create a different look with my stencil so I angled it and used several colors of distress ink. I then added some stars to the open corners and the sentiment dies in the middle. I then layered this onto some patterned acetate.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Make sure you head over to the STAMPlorations blog for more details and for the full hop list!
Happy Hopping/Crafting!

A Latte Holiday Cheer
Hello! Today I am taking part in the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop with a few fun stamp sets by Mint Owl Studio...
To create this card I stamped my coffee image in the center of a white panel. Now for my sentiment I used the Coffee Craze Stamp set mixed with the Trim the Tree Stamp Set. I then used Copic® Markers for the cup and a white gel pen for the dish. To create a fun bokeh effect I used the circle images from the Trim the Tree Stamp Set and various light inks. After I diecut the panel I layered it with some Wood Veener (thanks hubby!).
Make sure you join in the fun and hop along! All kinds of inspiration in one spot, hope to see you there!
Happy Crafting!

How Did You Get So Old?!
hehehe... oh how I love snarky comments, and this one just tickled my fancy so I went with it. I'm here and on the Mint Owl Studio Blog today sharing this funny Birthday Card that was created with a mixture of stamps...
To create this card I started by stamping my sentiment from the Snarky Birthday Sentiments set in the upper left corner. I then stamped the dinosaur and crutch from the Get Well Critter Stamp Set on the same panel and die cut the bottom at an angle. After I colored my little scene in with various Copic Markers I decided he needed one more thing... a birthday hat! So I grabbed my Party Pals set and stamped a little hat to cut out and add to the top of his little head.
Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Crafting!
