Christmas Home Decor Hop + giveaway chance

Hi and welcome to the Christmas Home Decor Hop!  I am so happy you have stopped by today!  you should have started with the lovely Shannon's page, and if not make sure you do so you don't miss a single bit of inspiration.

Today I am sharing a quick and easy Rosette Christmas tree and paper house village I have made and sitting out on my dining room table.  The best part about this project is that it includes up-cycling a toilet paper roll. Take a look....

Supplies for Tree:
Patterned Paper
MS scoreboard
Basic George Cartridge ( for star a punch would work just as well )
Circle Punch
K & Co. Gems
Toilet paper roll
Silver Glitter Paint
Ribbon - May Arts bought at V's Sweet Ideas
Hot Glue Gun

To make simply cut strips of patterned paper at different widths, fan fold and glue two strips together, press down and glue a circle in the middle on both sides to form rosette.  Then cut toilet paper roll with 1 larger piece for the trunk and sever slimmer ones to place in between the bottom layer of rosettes.  Paint toilet paper pieces with glitter paint, except the trunk piece.  Alternating rosettes with toilet paper hot glue them together.  To make a 3D star for the top I cut out a star shape twice and cut a slit in one to slide the other one onto.  Hot glue this to the top, and finish your tree with "ornaments" or gems in this case and a ribbon on the trunk.

Supplies for Village:
Winter Woodlands Cricut Cartridge
Cardstock
Snow Fluff, Markers, Stickles ( optional decor )
Scotch Quick Glue

To make these just follow the cuts and directions that come with the cartridge.  I choose to top mine with snow fluff, make window panes with markers, and add candles with stickles.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and if you've made this far like what you see and want to be a follower even better!  I'll be throwing together a little Christmas giveaway of some kind to give away to one lucky commenter, you don't need to be a follower but I sure would love to have you!  (giveaway only available for US residents due to shipping costs!  Sorry my international readers!!!)

Now here is a list of the hop and where you should go to the talented Diana's page next, and here is a complete list of everyone hopping today!

Wow Lisa... you have been busy! Those are very time consuming projects! You did a fabulous job! I love the bright colors you used. When making the 3D objects, what is your favorite adhesive? Glad to be in the hop with you today! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!
