PTI Blog Hop Entry #2

I'm back!  And so happy that you are too!  If you didn't get a chance make sure you scroll down to see my first entry!  I am so happy with the way my second entry turned out... and I tried something new!  I really wanted my colors to pop out a bit more against the black background so I used a white colored pencil first for all of my coloring and then colored on top of that with my colored pencils!  The results are beautiful!!!  Now I def. won't be so intimidated to try black backgrounds more often...

Supplies Used:
Cardstock: Coredinations
Stamps: PTI
Ink: Watermark and Colorbox white ink
White Embossing Powder
Colored Pencils
Pearls: Recollections

PS - I am very close to my 500th post and 250 followers, woo hoo!!!  Not to mention it's a little past the blogaversary... so I'm thinking a giveaway (including some die-namics, hero arts, webster pages and some more goodies) is coming very very soon! So make sure to follow along so you don't miss it!

Thank you again and make sure you stop by the hop to see everyone elses beautiful creations!!!
Happy Crafting!
Lisa

Great minds think alike. Love the leaves in the corners. They really move one's eye in to the beautifully colored image!

As I was scanning the cards in the blog hop, yours caught my eye. The soft colors against the black are lovely.

I forgot about that technique! You've showcased it *beautifully* (and now I can't wait to try it again on a card sometime soon!).

Nicely done, people keep making such fab cards and my PTI wish list keeps getting longer. Maybe this set will make me pull out my stamp supplies. It's so pretty!
