Love You to the Moon - STAMPlorations Challenge

Hello, hello my wonderful friends!  Today is when the STAMPlorations CAS team and GD's share more projects based on this months challenge with a twist as a way to hopefully inspire you to join in!  This month the twist is the color: Silver/Gray.  Now if you know me then you know that I love a good sentiment set and the Dee's Artsy Impressions Power of Words Stamp set is one of those...

To create this card I started by cutting my partnered paper that I wanted to use.  I then stamped the sentiment next to the perfect little space ship.  I dressed the moon and stars up with some tickles and set it off to dry.  I then cut a heart out and layered it all onto my cardbase.  Once the moon and stars were completely dry I die cut the whole panel with the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Die.  I wanted the stitching to have a more real effect by having it go through all of the layers and that is why I die cut it last.

Now onto some enabling, bwahahaha!
One week only! All stamps in the Dee's Artsy Impressions line are automatically 10% off! Plus Kathryn and Christmas is 20% off! Sale ends Monday, January 23.

Not only that, but I also have a code you can use to save even more!!! yay!!!
Enter: STAMPGIRLLISA for an extra 20% off!

Happy Crafting/Shopping!

Guest Designing for Butterfly Reflections Ink

Hello!  Today I am guest designing on The Butterfly Reflections Ink blog and I'm so excited as I am sharing what might be one of my favorite cards yet.  There is nothing fancy about the techniques used, just some tried and true stamping and coloring, but the image is so sweet and I am so happy with how the coloring on the flowers turned out that it just makes me happy!  I hope you like it too...

are you happy now too? hehehe!  This Stamping Bella image called:  I love all of the details in this stamp set!  I used a sentiment from the WPlus9 Renockulous Stamp Set, it is just so elegant!  For full details on how this card was created pop over to their blog and check it out!

Have a Super Day!

It's Wednesday... and my baby's ( my oldest really, but do they ever stop being your baby? ) first day of 1st Grade!!!! I am sure I am crying at the bus stop right now while this post is going live...  ok enough about my Mommy issues... because today I am wishing you a Super Day!

This little guy was created using The Alley Way Stamp Set Penguins on Parade along with the Happy Hero Set.  I just love all of the different ways you can mix and match these two sets, and on this card I decided to make him a little more Whimsical with the colors.  He's sure to find his way into my sons lunch box some day soon, and I hope he boosted your spirits a bit too!

I am entering this little guy into the following challenge:

Nephews of Mine Layout

Hello!  Happy Tuesday!!!  I'm popping in to share another layout I had time to squeeze in this month of my two nephews...

These two little men are a part of my every day life as I have watched them since they were each just babies.  I love them so much and love that my two have built in best friends! :)

I created this layout with lots of various Amy Tan Collections.  I had recently gotten a few sheets of her new collection and just had a blast mixing and matching with things I already had in my stash from the past! There was no real plan in mind when I started this layout, I just kind of trimmed layered and had fun!

I am adding this to the Clique Kits April Anything Goes Challenge
Paper Issues: Chalk One Up Your Own Style Challenge : since I used no sketches or anything for this layout it is all me!  It is bright and happy and fun... all my style!

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

Sand Girl Layout

Hello!  I'm here today with a layout that I created for fun, yay!  I haven't had much time to scrapbook lately, so it felt good to get this done, plus I had some new goodies that were just itching to be used...

Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper: Various Amy Tan Collections
Embellishments: American Crafts, Amy Tan
Enamel Dots: V's Sweet Ideas
Gesso: Martha Stewart
Cricut
Pens: Faber Castell
Doily: Doodlebug

I was inspired by the following challenges when creating this layout:
Sketches In Thyme: Sketch #145
Picture This Challenge: 3 photos and traveling
Clique Kits: Anything Goes Challenge

I had a lot of fun mixing and matching papers in this collection.  I also used some Gesso Whitewashing on the heart paper behind my photo in the middle, as I was inspired by the Big Picture Class: 5 Ways to Use Gesso.

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
