MarkerPOP Challenge #125

Hello!  I hope you are having a nice weekend!  So far the weather has been gorgeous here in Ohio.  I'm popping untidy to share the new challenge happening on the MarkerPOP Blog.  These challenges are always fun and easy to join along as all you have to do is use some type of marker that is carried in their store!  Super simple!  Plus you can win awesome prizes!  Any who, here is the newest inspirational photo and what I've created based on it...

I instantly thought of going to a fair of some type and busted out my Mama Elephant Little Dog Agenda Stamp Set to create my own fair like scene...

To color in my scene I used a mix of Distress Markers, water, and a brush.   I had used a Copic drawing pen to create my little tight rope, but in hindsight I should have added it after I watercolored. duh!

I also used the new Winnie and Walter Stamp Set: Sentimental Birthday for my sentiment.  Thanks so much for stopping by today and I can't wait to see what you'll create for this challenge!

Hiya!  I have a new layout to share... yay!!!  I might be a little late on joining the May 15th sketch from Creative Scrappers ( yes!  This challenge is now re-open!!! *squeal* ), but I loved it so much I had to play along...

And here is what I've created...

This layout is a fun mix of papers and embellishments including Elle's Studio, Pink Fresh Studio, Amy Tan, and some Hip Kit Exclusives. 

I am also linking this up to Kelly's Mood Board with the Scrappy Friends Challenges as I just loved the colors and they worked perfectly with my photos:

Miss You...

Hi!  I'm popping in to share one final take on The Ton's National Craft Month Challenge!  Now this time I didn't use the colors that were given to inspire, but instead I just played and had fun with my Ton stamps and gilding...

To create this card I started by stamping and embossing the stars in gold from the Panda Can't Even Stamp set.  I then layered the whole panel with water before dropping in random blue, purple and black watercolors.  I set this to the side to dry and stamped the panda on a side card stock.  I then started trimming it with scissors.  I then diecut a hill and the watercolor panel.  I added a few white splatters to the background and stamped my sentiment from the Vintage Frames set.  I added the little panda to the hill and finished it with some sequins from from the Purple Ballgown Couture Mix.  I then popped all of this up on some Amy Tangerine patterned paper and tied some black twine at the top.

Have a Super Day!

It's Wednesday... and my baby's ( my oldest really, but do they ever stop being your baby? ) first day of 1st Grade!!!! I am sure I am crying at the bus stop right now while this post is going live...  ok enough about my Mommy issues... because today I am wishing you a Super Day!

This little guy was created using The Alley Way Stamp Set Penguins on Parade along with the Happy Hero Set.  I just love all of the different ways you can mix and match these two sets, and on this card I decided to make him a little more Whimsical with the colors.  He's sure to find his way into my sons lunch box some day soon, and I hope he boosted your spirits a bit too!

Sweet Wishes

Hello!  Today I have a sweet card to share with you here and on The Alley Way Stamps Blog.  I am playing with the free stamp set of the month with a $40 purchase, Brain Freeze.  This set is so cute

To create this card I started by stamping the lollypop image repeatedly on various bright patterned papers.  I then trimmed just the tops.  After getting my black panel adhered to the card base I used complimentary mists and splattered them around.  I then popped the tops of the lolly's up with foam adhesive and cut toothpicks in half for the sticks.  I then stamped my sentiment on bright orange patterned paper before diecutting the flag shape around it.

A Pinktastic Card

Happy Monday!!!!!!!!  I thought if I added enough exclamation marks after it, your Monday just might be happy indeed hehehe!  Well even if my exclamation marks didn't do the trick... this little card is bound to brighten your day...

Check out all that pink yumminess!!!  Now why did I go crazy pink, I thought, why not?  When I kept looking at the little Narwhal little guy I thought he just needed to be colored pink, and why stop there?  When not just go crazy?  So I did!  And it was fun!  You'll also find this little guy on The Alley Way Stamps Blog along with other inspiration!

Nephews of Mine Layout

Hello!  Happy Tuesday!!!  I'm popping in to share another layout I had time to squeeze in this month of my two nephews...

These two little men are a part of my every day life as I have watched them since they were each just babies.  I love them so much and love that my two have built in best friends! :)

I created this layout with lots of various Amy Tan Collections.  I had recently gotten a few sheets of her new collection and just had a blast mixing and matching with things I already had in my stash from the past! There was no real plan in mind when I started this layout, I just kind of trimmed layered and had fun!

Paper Issues: Chalk One Up Your Own Style Challenge : since I used no sketches or anything for this layout it is all me!  It is bright and happy and fun... all my style!
