MarkerPOP Challenge #125
Hello! I hope you are having a nice weekend! So far the weather has been gorgeous here in Ohio. I'm popping untidy to share the new challenge happening on the MarkerPOP Blog. These challenges are always fun and easy to join along as all you have to do is use some type of marker that is carried in their store! Super simple! Plus you can win awesome prizes! Any who, here is the newest inspirational photo and what I've created based on it...
I instantly thought of going to a fair of some type and busted out my Mama Elephant Little Dog Agenda Stamp Set to create my own fair like scene...
To color in my scene I used a mix of Distress Markers, water, and a brush. I had used a Copic drawing pen to create my little tight rope, but in hindsight I should have added it after I watercolored. duh!
I also used the new Winnie and Walter Stamp Set: Sentimental Birthday for my sentiment. Thanks so much for stopping by today and I can't wait to see what you'll create for this challenge!

Hoppy Easter... National Craft Month Celebration Hop
Hi! I was able to squeeze a little crafty time in today and I wanted to play along with the National Craft Month Celebration Hop that is being hosted by Nicole from Right at Home. The theme is to use your favorite crafty supplies right now, as I have a million of those I was able to narrow it down to create some super cute ( well at least I think so ) tags for my two littles for Easter... I used the Honey Bunny stamp set from Mama Elephant, Tag dies from MFT, and my Gansai Tambi watercolors...
How could you not love those little bunnies?! I wanted my background to have the look of marbled dyed Easter eggs, and I am quite happy with the turn out!
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me!

Thanks... An Ellen Hutson + Mama Elephant Challenge
Hi! Today I'm happy I was able to find a little play time and I've made a card for the Essentials by Ellen Mix It Up Challenge using the Essentials by Ellen with Mama Elephant goodies!
To create this card I used the Essentials by Ellen Bold Blossom Stand alone dies by Julie Ebersole and the Mama Elephant Party Kit Stamp Set. I started by trimming Crate Paper Craft Market Designer Paper and stamping my sentiment on the trimmed strip. I then diecut the leaves from the Bold Blossom die set from vellum and heat embossed the tips in gold before adhering them behind my strip.
This card came together rather quickly and I like it! I am also entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Thanks

Take #1 on Cure for the Monday Blues Challenge
Hi! Today I'll be popping in quickly to share two different takes on the recent Cure for the Monday Blues Challenge #39... I have not had much time to play along in any challenges just for fun lately, but when I saw the new challenge photo I just had to join in...
And here is my first take...
I was inspired by the sentiment in the middle and I sort of inverted the white curves on my card from what was in the photo around the plate. I loved the look of the gold confetti design so I created one myself out of star stamps.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Mama Elephant (balloon) and Altenew (stars)
Die: Pretty Pink Posh
Embossing Powder: SweetStamps.com 24k gold
Sequins: Pretty Pink Posh
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will get a chance to stop back later for take #2!
Happy Crafting!

Runway Inspired Challenge #70
Hello, hello! This is post #2 for me today, but I'm super duper excited about this one... It is super CAS, but with some omph! You know what I'm talking about, wink wink! Check it out...
Ta da!!! Sometimes you get those ideas that pop up in your brain and it all works out just right, yay!!! To create my card I started with a red panel the same size as my card base, I then trimmed the top corners. Next I cut staright up the center from the bottom of the red panel and then came in and up from both bottom corners. This formed my Christmas tree opening. You can't help but be struck by the pure beauty and force of the antlers in the inspirational photo, so I used my Mama Elephant antler image from their Winter Wonderland stamp set as the "star" on top of my tree. Next I heat embossed the sentiment, and for the finishing touch I used an old earring that belonged to my Great Aunt who passed away last year. She had several earrings without backs to them and they are perfect for adding bling to any paper project. The colors were so perfect I had to pinch myself.
And here is a look at the RIC #70 Challenge photo:

Hiya! I was super excited to see that the Mama Elephant and Me Challenge was Anything Goes this month as it let me just have fun with my stamps, rather than always trying to make my projects meet a requirement. Supplies Used:
Stamps: Mama Elephant (Bling stamp set, and the back of one of the circles from Say What! Set)
Ink: Memento and Staz-On
Star brads

Mama Elephant and Me! Take #2
Hi! So today I am sharing a card that I feel is a bit different than my norm, but I had so much fun thinking outside of my little box and I love the results. This card is based on the latest Mama Elephant and Me Challenge: Paper Piecing + Thanks...
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Mama Elephant (sentiment: Say What, "hot air balloon": Lights Out)
Ink: Memento, Jeni Bowling
Patterned Paper: Heidi Swapp
Embossing Paste
Stencil: Studio Calico
Washi Tape
Star Sequins
Twine: Hemptique
I started this card by trimming my sun ray patterned paper. I used chalk ink around the edges and then stamped the thanks so much off once before stamping it on to the patterned paper. I then stamped the light bulb image onto various patterned papers and created my own hot air balloon! After I added this to my cardbase I added my stenciling and let dry. I then finished with the sequins, washi tape and twine.
Hope you liked my out of the box card today!

Paper Piecing fun!
Hello and Happy Friday! I'm here today to share a cute and happy little card that I've made based on the latest Mama Elephant and Me Challenge: Paper Piecing + Thanks...
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Mama Elephant (Honey Bunny, Say What, Sketchy Letters, Good Times)
Ink: Memento
Patterned Paper: Heidi Swapp
String
Sequins
I had fun with this challenge, and used a few (hehehe) Mama E Stamp Sets and got busy cutting! I Stamped my balloons first, then stamped the letters inside of them before cutting them out. My sun was created out of a balloon image and the rays are really the letter "l" from the Sketchy Letters Set. I added some sequin clouds just for pure cuteness sake.
I hope this card has brought a little smile your way today!
Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Crafting!
