Thanks...

Hi!  I'm popping in to play with a few challenges, yay!!!    I was excited to see Laurel Seabrook was back to crafting, and when I saw she had a challenge too I had to join in!  Such a beautiful inspiration picture too...

And I was also inspired by the Cupcake Inspirations challenge #437:

To create this...

To create my card I wanted to go very clean and simple, and I really love the blue and white combo, so I started with Winter Sky Cardstock by AMuse Studio as my cardbase.  I then added a strip of white embossed cardstock scrap that I had in my drawer and adhered it to the center.  For snowflakes I diecut both sizes from DCWV Glitter cardstock and layered them together.  The sentiment is by Lawn Fawn, and while I cut this also from white, I felt like there was enough of a difference between this and the embossed cardstock that it didn't need anything between the two.  To finish the whole card off I add some gorgeous Iridescent Clear Crystals from Studio Katia.

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me today and I hope I've inspired you to join in some challenges too!

Wishing You Happiness...

Hello!  This is my second post for today, so if you would like to see my home decor house rules that I made with DCWV goodies I'd love for you to stick around and scroll down! :)

Now I'm going to share a card I created, literally just this morning!  I love trying and exploring new color combos so when i saw the newest challenge at Cupcake Inspirations I just had to get crafty...

And here was my inspiration...

Isn't this color combo just gorgeous!!!  This card was super easy to create... I started by trimming my patterned paper and then trimming the center at an angle.  I then stamped my sentiment before adhering the patterned paper.   Next I diecut the butterfly, adhered the two cuts together, added some glitter to the body and tucked it right at the top corner of the sentiment.  The enamel dots were the icing on the cake, no pun intended ( ok screw it, pun was totally intended me = dork )!

Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper: Amy Tan
Stamp: Clearly BeSotted
Die: Spellbinders
Enamel Dots: Teressa Collins

Have a fabulous rest of the day and hope to see you back here tomorrow!

Winnie & Walter Take #2

I'm super excited to share this next take on another one of the Winnie & Walter Birthday Bash Challenges, as I've gotten my shaker on...  This card was created based on the Mood Board Challenge...

Isn't it dreamy and yummy all rolled into one?  Oh I LOVE it!!!  So here is what I created...

yay!  I love how this turned out!  Once again I got creative with my The Big The Bold and The Merry Stamp set and did a little masking to create my You & Me sentiment.  The papers are from Heidi Swapp Dream Collection and DCWV glitter cardstock.  I began by heat embossing and then watercoloring over my sentiment.  Next I diecut my frame, added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins, and created the shaker box element.  I die cut the hearts from more glitter cardstock and adhered to the patterned paper panel.

Supplies Used:
Stamp Winnie & Walter
Die: Lawn Fawn (hearts), Spellbinders (frame)
Cardstock: Ranger Watercolor, Diecuts With A View, Heidi Swapp
Sequins: Pretty Pink Posh

Thanks for stopping back by and hope you have a wonderful rest of your day!
