Smile Valentine!

I hope you all have had a good weekend!  Now that we are onto a new week I have a Valentine to share! (Only 8 more days to go! )

I am so happy with the way this Valentine has turned out.  For those of you out there who know who Virginia from Yes Virginia, you know how beautiful and truly inspiring she is.  She is also a very kind person who has always made time to leave comments for me ( even though I know she is super busy and constantly on the crafting go!), give me tips, and has been a true joy to learn from... so I wanted to use, what I refer to, as simplistic elegance that I see in many of her cards.

Materials Used:
Jenni Bowlin hearts paper
Jillibean Soup stripped paper
Cutter Bee Scissors
Stampin' Up Ink Close to CoaCoa
Kaiser Craft Pearls
Technique Tuesday - sentiment

I am entering this into the following challenges:
I Break For Challenges - love card
More Than Favors: Wacky Wednesday - love is in the air
Annabelle Stamps Blog - say it with hearts
Thankful Thursday - Anything goes
Lawnscaping Challenge - photo inspiration
My Craft Spot - Valentine's Day
The Kraft Journal: Make it Monday - La La Love You

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a craftastic rest of the day!
Happy Crafting!
Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving a comment. You asked what I use to sponge with. I cut small round sponges into quarters and use the rounded edge. They are available at Michaels and Stampin Up ( and probably other places ).
Your valentines card is very cute and I like the non-traditional colour scheme.
