Man Card Time

Today I am posting a birthday card I have made for my brother-in-law's birthday...  I find guy cards to be the hardest to make, but this one kind of came together on it's own!

Materials used:
Brown kraft
Spots and Dots Embossing Folder
gold ribbon from my stash
bottle cap
star brads
Glossy Accents
Swirl Clear Stamp
Fiskars Birthday Wishes Clear Stamps
Close to Coacoa ink by Stampin Up!
Vintage Photo Tim Holtz Distress Stain
Perfect Pearls Mist by Ranger in Gold
Zots Adhesive Dots
Sticky Doos by the Paper Studio

How did I make that fun little bottle cap?  I took a bottle cap from my stash, had the hubby cut off the prongs of the star brads, poured Glossy Accents into the bottle cap and placed my stars where I wanted them and let it dry. Easy Peazy!

And I am entering this into the following challenges:
The Craft Spot Challenge Me Monday #42- let's hear it for the boys
Celebrate the Occasion Challenge #47 - Masculine birthday card

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Happy Crafting!
Lisa

Hi Lisa! Thank you so much for your visit and sweet comment :) I usually use the 'feather' effect in PS to achieve the softness around my photos...It takes some practice but it's definitely easy to do once you figure out a look you like!
